Update. Not sure how a teeth can inflict blunt force trauma ? Surely they are pointy sharpy for cutting and gripping, ripping flesh ? Not like a cow (for example).

It’s probably for men as well as dogs. Maybe it is illegal but so is raping women but that doesn’t stop men doing it.

Also I wonder how effective it would be against one of these beasts. Police officers carry pepper spray, and yet have to shoot dogs.

Also, unless you know exactly how to use whatever you are packing - including that it will work when it's needed to work - you may have a false sense of security.

It really pisses me off that these dogs are allowed to walk the streets and lurk in homes until they kill someone.
I have to think twice about my kids walking to school, going on play dates, going to the park - it's fucking ridiculous this is happening. If they were just enacting Darwin and killing off the dumb owners it would make sense but it's inflicted on the rest of us.

I totally agree with you. Get mightily p*ssed of with the dafties who say 'oh it's not the dog, it's the owner' etc. That's as maybe, but those dogs are bred to attack, maim & kill. When did anyone ever hear of a person being savaged to death by a maltipoo, good owner or not?? No second chances for these evil dogs. (No first chances if I had my way tbh).

@Thistlewoman I agree. No one needs their pet criteria to be filled by some ugly ten tonne of bred to kill muscle. It's ridiculous. The government should just cull them all, how many more kids are we going to see die over this?

This. Totally. Why should workers in homes, children, the elderly, in fact ANY person be put at risk by these beasts and their thick owners. The Police do nothing, until there is an actual attack which is not good enough. You have my total sympathy, playing Russian roulette every time you go to work. Keir Starmer/Yvette Cooper need to be as tough on this as they are on the crimes which grab the headlines for them. 100% cull needed now.

Be fair, you would have to be a total brain-dead idiot to believe that any of these dogs is 'harmless'. They are bred to attack, maim, kill. And they have a hair trigger. The only good XLB (or XLB cross) is a dead one.

I agree that a cull is needed. The restrictions just aren’t good enough and potentially we have another 15 years of attacks left.

They need to be culled asap as there is a lot of breeding out, with mixed breeds created to be outside the ban.
