OP posts:
Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/07/2022 09:49

The posts about barricading A’s room etc have started…

In fairness plenty are pointing out it's not the way to go, but of course some are determined to stop the medics "getting to him" - apparently forgetting that this would mean the end anyway

I see Hollie posted that she's been in a cupboard (??) with the "chaplin" (sic).
Here's hoping he's one of the sensible sort who can offer some compassionate guidance and help her come to terms with what's got to come

Butteryflakycrust83 · 28/07/2022 09:58

In todays batshit army posts, we have suggestions of leech therapy and advising Hollie to take Archies blood sample herself.

I have no doubt that the hospital will be keeping an eye on that page to anticipate any sort of stupid behaviour.

Perplexed0522 · 28/07/2022 10:06

The Army are absolutely insane!!

I reckon some of them must be taking the kids to make such ridiculous suggestions!!

I refuse to believe that there are people who are that stupid who walk our planet.

SpindleInTheWind · 28/07/2022 10:22

That's got to be trolling now, surely? 'Let's see what we can wind her up to do next' kind of thing. We all know there are some absolute sickos out there online.

Surprised none of them have suggested a brain transplant. You know. Cos he’s brain dead

Thats about the intelligence I expect of these people

Somethingneedstochange · 28/07/2022 10:37

She completely refused any treatment chemo etc or blood. But she did have an op to have the tumour removed.

I remember the case a child can't give consent and doctors won't stand by and let a child die knowing they have a chance. But try telling the Archie's army that. There was the conjoined twins as well. If the NHS hadn't intervened both would have died. The twin who survived is doing really well now.

x2boys · 28/07/2022 11:15

RachelGreeneGreep · 28/07/2022 01:05

So the dad accepted hospital treatment even though the narrative is that the doctors are trying to kill Archie? 🤔

I expect "the army "would also accept medical care if they or their kids needed it
I wonder how many of them clapped for the NHS and had rainbows in their windows at the start of the pandemic?

I disagree ,I really do think sadly that some people really are that thick .

These people make me so angry time and time again. I work in Paeds and do people think that little of healthcare staff that we just go around killing children and don’t try everything to save them. It’s disgusting.

People have some strange ideas.

I used to work with a woman who refused to be on the organ donor list because she believed that hospitals deliberately kill off patients to harvest their organs. She also said that she had forbidden her son to go on the donor list and that she would refuse to consent to his being a donor should the possibility arise.

She claimed she knew people who worked in the nhs who told her all about this practice so she knew it to be true.

And yet she was a seemingly educated, intelligent woman.

Most people won't, no but these armies are often full of very unnintelligent people who have nothing better to do but read conspiracy theories and wind each other up in these facebook groups

Butteryflakycrust83 · 28/07/2022 14:22

She posted a pic of blood on Archies bed which many nurses explained was a mix of fluid and blood from an arterial line if he had been moved, easily done and no doubt quickly cleaned up. The army were going bananas.

She now reckons trolls are sending men to the hospital to get her which is why she had to hide in a cupboard with the 'chaplin'

MayThe4th · 28/07/2022 14:24

Well, presumably as 2 pm has now been and gone they need to act?

Laiste · 28/07/2022 14:29

Surely now we're down to the wire?

This circus must end.

PeloAddict · 28/07/2022 14:30

I would imagine they might have to have security/police there in case someone tries to start CPR or blocking it

MayThe4th · 28/07/2022 14:33

I wonder if there’s some kind of reporting restriction until after to prevent any of these loons from turning up at the hospital.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/07/2022 14:37

do people think that little of healthcare staff ...

I suspect the key word there is "think", as in some don't seem able to, and instead just respond mindlessly to the latest stimulus before moving onto the next

It isn't even a matter of differing views on the facts, as we can all have - facts don't appear to matter to them, unless they're their own

Crazycatlady83 · 28/07/2022 14:40

I sure the hospital will continue to try to work with HD and the family to make the end peaceful and come up with a plan. The thought of having Police and Security there, is just too horrific.

TurquoiseDragon · 28/07/2022 14:41

I've just seen a report online that they're now requesting additional time to enable an application to the UN.

AlternativelyWired · 28/07/2022 14:45

They've already had additional time. I know how desperate she must be but enough is enough poor lad.

Butteryflakycrust83 · 28/07/2022 14:46

Given the ableist slurs the family and friends have used regarding disability, its laughable they are trying to say its against disability rights.

MayThe4th · 28/07/2022 14:48

Whoever is in charge of this now just needs to refuse, and the life support needs to be removed.

This actually makes me incredibly angry thinking about the amount of money that is being poured into this, when there are genuinely ill children out there who need that bed and need that ventilator. This shitshow needs to end and I have lost all sympathy.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 28/07/2022 14:48

Hollie just posted that the police have already had to be called, because three "trolls" turned up and abused the chaplin (sic) who was praying for Archie - hence, allegedly, why he had to speak to her in a toy cupboard for her own safety

Needless to say it's providing more excitement for the "Army", none of whom seem to have wondered how anyone could have accessed the department quite so easily

According to another page who contacted the hospital:

𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: Apparently the 3 men, she let the men in even though she didn’t know them then they started causing issues shouting religious phrases towards a healer. H has already been told numerous times not to let anyone in on the ward due to safety.

Same

I got a call about my mum at midday, she had died with me sat beside her by 11.45pm
No interventions, everything withdrawn, peaceful and quiet and with a chaplain there and me reading to her
I get she was older but she was only 72, and we knew she wouldn't want to carry on with dementia. I had 12hrs to get used to the idea and say goodbye. They've had months
