I am seriously appalled that the hate crime legislation does not address misogyny. This needs amending.

The thing is when the Women hate crime is added to. It will mean for example Germaine Greer will not be allowed free speech on her thoughts about transwomen. You won't be able to speak badly of other women when half demented at finding your childs life in tatters and so forth. This is what we are asking for.

There were links to further restrictions of our life on other threads and our children brain washed. Is this really what we want?

Starting a petition or talking about Davina the transwoman who raped a 14 year old girl and is a convicted rapist, would become a hate crime.

i see what you mean Vertigo. I'm thinking that if most other groups in society who regularly experience hate speech, assault etc because of their 'difference' women shouldn't be the only group to not to be protected. But I hear you wrt silencing opinions etc. What would you suggest?

We've already lost a lot, if we are too intimidated to exercise free speech and access our government. This goes far beyond just our immediate concern. This indicates something rotten at the core.

I think it's a bad idea to ask for a hate crime against women, because it will have consequences we haven't thought of that may make things worse for women.
