Not an easy one, my mind keeps changing. Right now I'm going for Life On Mars.

Anyone else?

So hard.

Changes as it was the first Bowie song we got slightly tipsy to.

Ashes to Ashes for the people I was around at the time [schooldays]

Queen Bitch for the video - those boots.

I am totally and utterly gutted today. ALL my friends are Bowie fans. It's heartbreaking, and we are all devastated.

Shocking news to wake up to this morning. He's just brought out a new album but has had cancer for a couple of years. Must have wanted to keep it secret.

I'm a big David Bowie fan -

Heroes
Lets Dance
Ashes to Ashes
Stay ..

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 09:23

Whole Albums rather than a single song.

Man Who Sold the World
Station to Station

TheoriginalLEM · 11/01/2016 09:25

man who sold the world

ground control to major tom

Sad
fourmummy · 11/01/2016 09:25

Wild is the wind

LettuceLaughton · 11/01/2016 09:33

I honestly couldn't choose. So, so much amazing material.

Inkanta · 11/01/2016 09:35

fourmummy

Yes - Wild is the Wind.

JimmyGreavesMoustache · 11/01/2016 09:36

so many
Boys Keep Swinging
Queen Bitch
Heroes
and I have a very soft spot for As The World Falls Down

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 09:37

Yes, if 1 song, Wild is the Wind

mupperoon · 11/01/2016 09:38

Another vote for Ashes to Ashes. I love his 70s stuff but that song just encapsulates the strangeness of him, and indeed the 80s.

Gozogozo · 11/01/2016 09:38

Wild Is The Wind
Under Pressure
Life On Mars
Little China Girl
This Is Not America
Heroes
++++

It would actually be easier to list the very few that I DIDN'T really love.

PseudoBadger · 11/01/2016 09:39

Changes

Flingingmelon · 11/01/2016 09:40

There's so many I don't even know. My most musculature influenced period was when he was releasing his creatively questionable stuff or when he wasn't releasing anything, so I only know his more popular stuff.

Going to use this thread to educate myself

Musculature? 'Musically' please auto correct!

needygonzales · 11/01/2016 09:41

Prettiest Star, I just love it

Iwonderif · 11/01/2016 09:42

Let's dance.

I'd like to say RIP however resting in peace for such a legend seems not quite right. I'd like to think of him and all the greats gone before him having a right old session wherever they may be. Being free from pain and suffering is what's most important.

MilkTwoSugarsThanks · 11/01/2016 09:44

Ashes to Ashes.

Ooh, no Changes...

..but I really loved Let's Dance too.

Space Oddity is still brilliant.

zippyswife · 11/01/2016 09:44

Just can't pick one...
Young Americans
Heroes
Absolute beginners.
Can't believe he's gone.

SoftBlocks · 11/01/2016 09:44

So many I can't chose just one.

Life on Mars
Heroes
Space Oddity
Ashes to Ashes
And many many more...

Made such an impact on my little brain when I first heard them and I've loved them ever since.

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 09:45

Odd isn't it? To like a cover song, when he wrote such beautiful songs.

But I always looked for the covers on each album. He interpreted so well.

TondelayaDellaVentamiglia · 11/01/2016 09:47

The Jean Genie and Suffragette City
...up so loud the car windows rattle.

so many others though

OurBlanche · 11/01/2016 09:48

It's love back to front and no sides

Psychodelicate Girls and Little Metal Faced Boys all over the world will cry today

M48294Y · 11/01/2016 09:49

Queen Bitch, Young Americans, Heroes, Breaking Glass, Star Man ... there's just too many!

MumOnTheRunCatchingUp · 11/01/2016 09:50

Blue jean
Young Americans
And ( weirdly I added this last night to my running playlist)

Modern love..... My all time fave
