Karen Buckley left a nightclub on Sunday night after telling her friends she was going to the loo. She got into a car with a man and seems to have spent a few hours at an address about a mile away. She left there to go home and hasn't been seen since.

It is apparently completely out of character for her, and her parents have travelled from Cork to try to find her. They are desperately worried.

Ctrl are you deliberately being obtuse? The point is for everyone to be on alert and look out for anything that looks suspicious. They are currently trying to trace a car that was in the area.

Er no, actually MrsPeabody, a missing woman story isn't something I'd choose to be "deliberately obtuse" about, I don't know about you. I just found the wording a little odd in this context. I see what the OP meant now,

Not looking good unfortunately, so sad. The flat where she supposedly went with the person she was seen talking to on CCTV, has now been sealed off and police with forensic suits seen at the premises. God love her, her family and her friends

There was a short thread on this earlier, I posted on it, it seems to have disappeared for some reason. Really, really hoping for a good outcome. Her family must be out of their minds with worry.

I also think it's very odd how the police have said they are looking for a grey car in Milngavie at lunchtime, but not given any info about make, model, etc. Almost not worth saying, there must be about a thousand of them.
