It bought a huge grin to my face. Stupid little prick probably didn't even realise it was bound to happen.

headfairy · 03/09/2012 21:35

dreadful man. My mum is a gamesmaker and when he and his family came to see the basketball at the Dome his wife was really shitty to my mum. Really superior and sneered at my mum.

brandysoakedbitch · 03/09/2012 21:38

After the disability benefit cuts it does seem a dreadful sort of irony doesn't it?

AKissIsNotAContract · 03/09/2012 21:40

Great to see him getting booed. Sadly I think he'll get the last laugh when he fucks us even more.

DisabilEightiesChick · 03/09/2012 21:41

I've just seen the footage of this on C4. Very satisfying to see. Not as much as voting the git out would be, though. Apparently it happened to Cameron too - have a look here

threesocksmorgan · 03/09/2012 21:42

just seen this, brilliant

Darkesteyeswithflecksofgold · 03/09/2012 22:50

Just seen this on twitter .........Whats next, Nick Griffin handing out MOBO awards.
Good to see the country is finally waking up.

Viperidae · 03/09/2012 22:53

If only there was a viable alternative! I hate the bastards but am not convinced there is anyone worth voting for.

Blu · 03/09/2012 22:58

Why should he be expect to be honoured and welcomed by a crowd who were there to celebrate athletes with a disability? He is trashing the very possibility of a future generation of disabled athletes from having the education, facilites and financial security within which to discover thier talent and train. Many of the schools to which the british athletes went have been closed down. Extra-curricular sport (or activity of any kind) for disabled children becomes ever harder.

How very dare he or Cameron show thier faces, let alone attempt to bask in reflected glory?

crazy8 · 03/09/2012 23:12

Maybe we should have Lord Coe as our new Prime Minister. Just a thought.

BombusBombus · 03/09/2012 23:15

This made my day. He's an arsehole.

BurlingtonBertieFromBow · 03/09/2012 23:23

I don't think there is anyone less photogenic in the public eye.

I particularly enjoyed the bit where the realisation that everyone hates him dawns...

CommunistMoon · 03/09/2012 23:30

Why hasn't anyone come along to defend Gideon? Confused

mcmooncup · 03/09/2012 23:34

What a marvellous way to end my day.

The moment when the "oh you guys , you are soo funny booing me" turns into a "holy fuck, they actually mean this. I am actually hated. Like really" is a moment I will savour.

Greasy little plankton.

Empusa · 03/09/2012 23:35

Fantastic! Grin

mcmooncup · 03/09/2012 23:39

On my final airing before sleep, wtaf was the MD of BMW doing there with him presenting medals?

All very sick inducing.

riverdeep2 · 04/09/2012 10:29

Osborne and Michael Gove are like two peas in a pod... both smarmy, arrogant and disingenuous... do they make your skin creep too? How on earth do we elect people like this?

LadyWellian · 04/09/2012 10:37

riverdeep 'we' don't - it's 'them'. Grin

I was there last night and had a little boo under my breath when they announced the pie-faced twat would be presenting the medals. I was quite (pleasantly) surprised when the whole stadium went for it too.

superwhizzynewlaptop · 04/09/2012 10:37

hehehehehehehehehe

LadyWellian · 04/09/2012 10:38

On a nicer note, Michael McKillop got his medal from his mum, who was there as a P&G ambassador (whatever that is). And Piispanen got his from the president of Finland, which I imagine would have been pretty special as well.

JohnWayne · 04/09/2012 10:39

Cameron wasn't booed.

CatPower · 04/09/2012 10:42

Gideon actually smirked at the booing. "Yes, boo me proles, but I've still managed to make your lives miserable and I get paid for the privilege." He's a disgusting, hateful excuse of a human being.

feetheart · 04/09/2012 10:45

Cameron was definitely boo-ed in Aquatics Centre last night :o Boris was mainly cheered and Gordon Brown was given a show of half-hearted indifference.
I spent more time explaining politics to DC (9 and 6) than swimming catergories but my ears are still ringing this morning from the reaction of the crowd to the people who really deserved it :)
