It goes without saying that the man who raped her is an evil bastard and he needs to be locked up until he no longer poses a threat to anyone ie probably forever.
This thread is about our society though, and how people treat each other.
I have stumped up the odd 20p for fares for others, from time to time, especially late at night / if they seem upset. It's the human thing to do.
The driver on that bus could have taken her, he chose not to. Everyone there could see her distress, begging, for 8 minutes. They chose not to help either. In that 8 minutes she could have got to the cashpoint and back. But no, not allowed.
Since when did turning a blind eye to the difficulties of others become an acceptable way to behave?
