.... here. Jools & Jamie have had another baby.

Am I being unreasonable (although this is not the AIBU forum) but how ridiculous (or other words I can't think of) are these names?! Buddy Bear takes the whole thing to a new level...

They're the sorts of names infants would come up with for the class pet. I worry about that pair.

Maria2007loveshersleep · 16/09/2010 12:20

Will they be calling the boy Buddy or Bear or both, I wonder? Hmm I also wonder whether they'll call their next son Mate? Maybe Mate Teddy? (take notes, Jools).

Buddy Oli..... ver. Are they having a laugh?

LutyensCBA · 16/09/2010 12:33

The baby has another middle name...Maurice!

So...Buddy Bear Maurice Oliver.

Chil1234 · 16/09/2010 12:33

I'd love to be a fly on the wall when today's babies of the rich and famous enter school and the register is called out. 'Buddy Oliver?' 'Tinky Winky Fairfax?' 'Rochart Ink-Blot?' 'Windowlene McIver?'... 'Please miss. Windowlene's off sick miss'...

CatIsSleepy · 16/09/2010 12:37

blinking 'eck

I don't know what else to say Grin

AbsofCroissant · 16/09/2010 12:37

Presumably they're expecting all their children to grow up and become children's entertainers/stuffed toys?

"I am very sorry. You have cancer. I will be referring you to Dr Petal Blossom Oliver"

YunoYurbubson · 16/09/2010 12:39

I like it.

Buddy is a good name.

It suits their family.

Thumbs up.

But I shall prob be a lone voice on a thread of gleeful savaging.

anonymousbird · 16/09/2010 12:39

B O are his initials, poor little blighter!

CatIsSleepy · 16/09/2010 12:39

Buddy Bear sounds like a toy

sethstarkaddersmum · 16/09/2010 12:40

ha ha, I was wondering how on earth they were going to keep up the same style when it came to a boy's name.
Well done Jamie and Jools!

ShadeofViolet · 16/09/2010 12:40

I like it - its a cute name.

But his initials will be B.O, which would put me off.

Hullygully · 16/09/2010 12:41

I like Buddy.

My dd used to call all her toys Petal Blossom. Weird.

redderthanred · 16/09/2010 12:42

Buddy Bear???

ok - so their girls names are slightly odd, but still pretty.

BUT

Buddy Bear??? Shock

ShatnersBassoon · 16/09/2010 12:44

Just think if he follows in his father's footsteps and becomes a TV chef. I might send my idea for the series 'Buddy Bear Grills' to C4 now.

Damn! They took my baby name! Well, back to the drawing board...

claig · 16/09/2010 12:59

Buddy Nora, he's a pwat

sethstarkaddersmum · 16/09/2010 13:00

Never mind Bumper, there are some great suggestions on the feminist boys' names thread - maybe you could use Dworkin Dungaree Dittany Tiffany-SCUM Inanna instead? (but don't tell Adair cos it was for her ds.)
