Hot here too. so all my GO this morning has gone, now feeling lethargic, attempted gardening but too hot and sticky. Have picked more Raspberries and started seiving some to make ice cream.
Is dgd feeling better now HMHB?

I am really crap at lists atm...will need a kick up the backside next week!

wc was going to be coming over this afternoon but he text me to say he was too ill(has had a bad cold/virus all week) and was flaked out at his nans so I took him down a little care package of drugs, vitamin c, lucozade and a rolo cookie, gave him a hug and left him to his germs. He looked awful and his nan said he'd nearly passed out earlier. He came in on his way past and looked a bit better than he had earlier so maybe I'd worked some magic

HMHB I hate it when you make the effort to take the dc somewhere and then they play up. DS wanted to go to the library earlier and I got sick of the sound of my voice telling him to stop running/climbing/shouting/pulling books off shelves...

IPOM I also hope it all works out, sounds positive for now so that's good

Glad you had a lovely time yesterday alice, I always feel guilty if I say it's nice to have child free time but I think everyone needs it sometimes.

I went out today and got ds passport application posted off (just incase the money tree out the back grows and we can go on hols)
went to cake shop
went to Sainsburys which is definitely way dearer than Tesco!!

dh said we were all going out tonight for dinner but he hasn't even arrived home for lunch yet and I'm starting to feel like I can't be bothered going anywhere!!

Moth count NIL .Am wondering whether they might have an active season, so may be done for this year and will have to watch out next year.
Look forward to the fit bloke count Freak ( what is wc by the way?) work colleague/ willy creep/ err enlighten a poor duffer.
Peg note: fed up of crap plastic falling to bits pegs, so have invested in posh John Lewis plastic pegs at enormous expense. At least those nice John Lewis people will listen when I go in and moan if they aren't up to the job.

Hello It is too hot to do anything sensible here, have flopped about all day and let DS spend ages and ages in the garden with paddling pool and sandpit. I have sat on my sunlounger and played computer games while supervising him to make sure he didn't drown , oh and built about 1000 the odd sandcastle.

Wasting - are you planning on cleaning your wooden African giraffe? just guessing here. we have one but apart from the odd dust have never cleaned it, what about a hippo, never cleaned that either, though the boys do sit on it which gets the dust off

Yes mini wc is my (fit) window cleaner, thought for a while there might be something going to happen between us but he is Unavailable (capital U!). We have however become good friends As the slatterns have been with me through the whole thing I like to keep them up to date (gives me someone to talk about other than the dc anyway!)

So anyway, including him, fit man count: 2
Did not manage to get fit bus driver today but did get young gay cute one (looks about 15 and it worries me slightly to have him driving the double deckers!)

DS still not in bed. Kids outside are playing football in the street, don't think it is helping but as I love the fact that I live in a road where they all do that I'm not going to complain!
