Morning ladies,
Bright morning here, but slapped in the face with an icy blast when I let the cat out! Day off today and for the first time for ages DH is working on my day off, so I am going to use today to catch up on the million things that have been on my to-do list for ever. - well I will try to do some of them anyway!
OM - Are you stuck in the snow again?
MrsD - Thanks for the muffin recipe. DS wants to try it out, so may be having muffins for pudding tonight. Glad the slow cooker is performing well!
DWM - If there were slurping teenagers at this time of the morning I would need a bottle of something stronger then camomile tea! Or is that for calming my nerves in preparation for today?
You were cooking pasta at 10.45 last night? Crazy!!
MMM - Big un-mumsnetty hugs coming in your direction. Full sympathies from someone who has been there, done that and had too many t-shirts!
MissB - Glad the toe is getting better.
PMPY - Work sounds horrendous. Hope today goes ok.
MrsGok - welcome back, sorry you are poorly and I hope you feel better soon.
Ellie - come and speak to us all. Hope you are alright.

So today:

Catch up work job No 2
Try and get ahead with planning for job No3 - highly unlikely!

Cook Lasagne - slow cooker

Then straight to parents evening for DS.
Should be at housegroup tonight, but may not if parents evening goes on too long.
Oh no DS and DD4 have just gone out the door to school, settled in front of laptop for a few minutes of "me" time. What do I hear? DD2 dragging herself downstairs to claim her place on the sofa. Already making the place look untidy! Off to get her breakfast and try to be a caring mum - "me" time will have to wait for later. - Oh I don't mean to sound selfish, I know she is poorly!
Have a good day everyone.
