RainbowDrops · 07/09/2009 15:03

DS3 Is being a grump, he is teething, poor thing, he keeps biting hard objects like his highchair tray and the TV cabinet. I have given him Calpol and put some gel on his gums. He is so clingy, somehow I have got to peel the spuds for tea, either with one hand or whilst listening to him cry or maybe DS1 or DS2 will be able to distarct him when they get in.

JKS

I have officially quit for the day. I had all these good intentions with this afternoon, then DS was a git outside the suit shop, sat on the floor for 5 mins and refused to move (he knows it hurts too much for me to carry him if he fights me ), and then kicked hell out of me when I finally got him to the car. I had plans to sort clothes etc. Ain't happening til tomorrow.

RainbowDrops · 07/09/2009 15:12

JKS What a bargain!!

I really must start thinking about christmas, I am determined to be more orgainsed this year. Last year was very rushed and stressful, DS3 was only 7 weeks old and christmas day was just a blur to me because I was very sleep deprived!!

JKS - fingers crossed for the drugs then. Yey on the work though, at least that is one less thing to think about while you are going through all this with the boys.

Flame - . Just curl up this afternoon and then start again tomorrow.

Rainbow - teething is hideous, DS seems to have been teething forever. He has bitten through the foam on the bar of his buggy and now when he chews it black stuff goes all over his mouth and face. I need to order a new one.

Gah, I was doing so well and then my sodding mother has to ring up and start going on about the row with my brother. I wasted an hour on the phone to her getting all upset and then another hour wailing on DH. I know she loves me, but she has a bloody funny way of showing it at times.
I am now drinking beer. DS has just conked out half an hour before dinner so he's in bed and the tea is on hold

JKS - glad you're feeling better! We are like a seesaw all of us on this thread atm - one day we'll all be cheerful at once!

Ali - hope the beer is helping, would join you but have to drive to orch meeting later.

Having just spoken to my MIL (who worries excessively so i don't tell her the harsh truth) I can say that lying to someone about how positive you are can really work
