I had a crap nights sleep, went to bed cross with DH who said about 5 words to me yesterday evening and actually ignored me when i spoke to him (he was on his game on the laptop) then when he came to bed he was trying to be all friendly (not gonna happen) then i had very busy mad dreams and woke up still cross this morning! RainbowDrops · 08/09/2009 11:01

HMHB 35 weeks the time has flown by!! BH can be a pain especially when you are nearing the end and everytime you have a practice contraction it makes you wonder whether something could be happening. I used to find my BH would be worse if I was rushing around so rememebr to take it easy

alice MY DH has done this to me before!! Men eh!! The thing with my DH is he usually doesn' have a clue what he has done and if I then tell him he blames my hormones what were the dreams about, or can you not remember them??

I have found that if I do things in the morning I get more done, otherwise I just keep putting it off

Rainbow First i dreamt i was in a Harry Potter film fighting zombies, then i dreamt i was visiting my ex's parents, and then i woke up because i thought there was a spider on me, there wasn't, it was just my hair I'm sure there was more, but those are the ones i remember. Care to analyze?

Alibabaandthe40nappies · 08/09/2009 13:11

JKS - fingers crossed that it is positive

Alice - gah how annoying, is it an online thing that he plays?

Had a lovely time at Jolly Babies, but now DS has gone to sleep so who knows what time he will wake up for lunch . He is really switching his naps and sleeping around at the moment, quite awkward for planning mealtimes etc.
I have sat down now which is fatal, should go and do some jobs as this is likely to be his only nap of the day. Feel all lethargic though.

JKS that does sound positive. at you ordering ice cream, I am trying to cut down on things like that, so I can improve my mummy tummy!!

My friend has just left, she has being having a rough time recently, nut she seemed more cheerful when she left.

Got to encourage DC to do their homework now, I hope they don't create a fuss, you would think after god knows how many years of doing homework they would be used to it by now

Ali - Jolly babies sounds great. Know what you mean about things starting up again after summer. All the antenatal classes are back this week.

Thanks for all the messages about BH everyone. They seem to happen when I move about so staying still / sat down is the priority. I don't remember them from last pg .

Naughty - We need a welsh sort of name that is easily pronouncable by english relatives.
DS is called Jac. I like George but DH doesn't. Also like Edward but since he was the king who was particularly evil and vicious to the welsh might not go down well at the local school.

My Dad's middle name is Hugh so could go with Huw.

For girls I like Elisabeth Rose but that is not v welsh either. I think DH seems to like the longer welsh girls names which I cannot spell.

But agreed. Do need to sort the before baby comes list ASAP! Aaargh. Back to work...

JustKeepSwimming · 08/09/2009 17:24

HMHB - Huw would be a good choice. I like George for our next boy And lol at the reason for not choosing Edward!
I didn't have any BH's with ds1, not loads with ds2 but definitely more.

( has anyone warned you about afterpains???)

Rainbow - i need to get rid of my mummy tummy too but am at target weight so allow myself treats now will have to do some exercise one of these days....

  • laundry:
  • Load1 HungOut

Hmm, well the housework has all gone rather to pot, totally lost my motivation for it. Been out for a nice walk though with DS and DH.
I feel exhausted for some reason, hoping it is just the tablets and that once I'm used to the higher dose I'll feel better.

Alic - where do you get that Spatone stuff from? Looked in the chemist earlier and couldn't see it...

HMHB - i didn't have any afterpains with number 1 (and most people i ask didn't). but number 2 (and subsequent ones apparently) they can be quite bad....
esp if you bf, every feed you have more contractions
it helps the womb return to the right size but blimey they can take your breath away!
No-one ever seems to tell anyone else about them - some kind of sisterhood secret

paracetomol (sp?) helps
and they don't last very long.

PlumBumMum · 08/09/2009 18:45

OOHH I could name change to plumbummumtum, I definitely have a muffin top now I look back at photos of me after ds and think I look skinny, and I know for a fact I wanted to lose wieght then
