I've just had a proper look at that cake website, theres some delicious recipes on there!! Especially the caramal mudcake ones, must try them.

Morning I usually need a good old rant after I have visited the family too, especially the in-laws

DH is in a foul mood this morning, he has hurt his knee and it's an important day for him at work today, so he can't take a day off. Had to bite my tongue several times already this morning (he was being a little short with the DCs)to avoid a row.

I am hoping to get a lot done from my list before I go out so that when I come back later I shouldn't be rushing around like a headless chicken. That reminds me I must check to see how long the chicken will take to cook!!!

I now have a tidy airing cupboard! It has inspired me to make an extra list with all the things I have hanging over me in the hope that seeing them on my list everyday instead of just having them lurking at the back of my mind will help me get them done.

Clairey - I love that, 'Areas of Doom'. I cleared one out this week, two little drawers at the top of DS' chest that were still full of shite from when DH and I had our things in it.

Ladyg - a sick man is a PITA. They somehow manage to take up the whole house with their swooning and moaning!

We are going away for the weekend this evening so need to pack. I'm doing ok so far but still got lots to do.

CWWM My DH is a bare with a sore head in the mornings, its best not to talk to him until he has had a cup of coffee, this morning he was a bear with a sore head and a sore knee!! I have just spoken to him and he seeems alot happier now. Lola is a beautiful name BTW

Right, it is spilling rain here today, plus am defrosting the fridge/freezer so floors are soaked. Had to put on the heat to try and dry the clothes. Have no motivation today think it is pmt!!!! So going to do cleaning in 15 mins crisis cleaning style!!!

Going to start on dishes, find when they are done,it free up so much space. Right back in 15 mins

Peppa - I have tons too. I bought some new ones from Boden in the sale recently and there was no room for them. In my defense I tend to wear pjs for a while in the mornings while I do the housework and the clearing up and then have a shower once DS is down for his nap and get dresed properly at that stage.

OMG - CWWM. I think I'm having a busy morning, and then I see your list 'dressed x 6' and I think that maybe I don't know I'm born!

We aren't going anywhere fancy, just to stay with some friends, but it is nice to not know what we're having for dinner for a few days and know I don't have to do anything about it!!

Right decided not to risk coming back after 15 mins. Kitchen floor is soaked! but I have folded all my towels like PBM showed me how to so I dont want to ruin the look of the hotpress (airing cupboard) by taking them out so am constainly mopping it! Am , I didnt throw mop head in with the t-towels.

Ali I seem to be given alot as presents, maybe they know I like my sleep!! Sometimes I do housework in some PJs too, I have put them all on my bed and when I sort through them I am only keeping enough to fill one
drawer. Enjoy your weekend!! If you've got a shiney halo for ironing, what to I get for avoiding ironong at all costs, a devils fork maybe Once my washing comes of the line I put it in the tumble for a few minutes and the fold it.

Had to get dressed PEPPA, as needed to collect DD2s prescription today, big row going on between the chemist and health service so they might have to reduce some services, so there was a massive queue in the shop, took nearly 20 mins to get her meds .

Oh I love pyjamas I would wear them all the time if I could get away with it .

I've done well today and am just going to hoove upstairs then get in the bath with L she wants to feed most of the time from about 3pm until 8pm with just small naps in between so glad I have a nice sparkly house to ook at today for a change.

LMAO @ ali It is quite easy getting them ready it is just a case of making sure they have brushed their teeth and hair I only really have to help dd3/4 and of course L but she is in babygrows most of the time ATM.

Quick update, the sun is shining here, maybe we will have a summer afterall. DS3 is having a long nap, probably to make up for all the sleep he has lost practising his crawling skills in the middle of the night , so I have got a good amount done.

I now have just one drawer of nighties/pjs. What can I fill the empty drawer with?? Shopping trip??

I am putting off looking at our finances because I am sure there will be no shopping trip for me .

CWWM I had 7 pairs though, 1 really thick fleece pair warm enough to wear in the north pole.

This is going to sound really sad but I am quite enjoying sorting out my clutter, the house is looking tidier already!!
