Peppa - that sounds like a bad idea, lol! now you'll have to Do Something with it all or chuck it all back at bedtime

Plum - well done good mummy, hope they enjoy them

Pee-ing it down here now, glad we didn't bother trying again for picnic!

Thinking ds1 may be coming down with the dreaded Swine Flu incubation can take 7 days, last thurs he got a sloppy kiss of a friend of his who then was prescribed Tamiflu on the Fri. He seems hot (can't get sodding thermometer to work!), has a runny nose & slight cough, lack of appetite & no energy....

JKS I am seriously considering just chucking it all back in before anyone else notices!! Like a true slattern

Afternoon slatterns.

Have just had a text from friend who was supposed to be coming round to say that she has had to work so not able to make it. I am secretely pleased as she has 2 boys (nearly 4yr and 18mo) and it will be easier if they come when the weather is nicer and we can go to the park.

So i will go and put the washing in the tumble then watch my recorded project runway, then get ready to go to other friends - sorted!

Weather is so changable its hard to know what to do

Hello everyone
I've been making up for my lazy day yesterday and have been all anthea/martha today. I even got down and bleached the grouting of my kitchen floor tiles with a toothbrush

DD's new carseat has arrived. It's really wide though which means I can no longer use the "but we could fit it in the car" argument for another baby

Trillian the thread moves more slowly without you!

JKS ds was up at 5 this morning, just lay in bed with him for ages though and then made dh take him cos my neck was sore from lying at a funny angle with ds cuddled into me.

Ah we've been lucky, it poured down all morning until about 11 but has been bright sunshine since then

I've just sorted out all the clean washing (it's not put away yet but is at least in the right rooms!) and folded my towels, fitted sheets etc properly . Now feel strangely compelled to empty out my airing cupboard and do the whole lot (I got in a tangle just with a toddler bed sized fitted sheet mind so a king size one might be the end of me!)

Hi everyone went out to M&S with my mum, got loads of stuff,
ds's trousers were only £3.50, My mum had a shareholders discount voucher as well 12.5% so it worked well,

All I need to do now is go to Clarkes and get them measured for their doodles, got them both BHS versions last year and dd1s lasted 2 weeks, she wore her old Clarkes doodles the rest of the year,

ds lasted longer but then at Easter the teacher said "has Adam not told you about his indoor shoes?"
OMG The insoles were hanging out the front like 2 big toungues

I have never been soo embarrassed, got him another cheap pair to do him until end of year and they were just as bad so I will never buy cheap indoors again!!!

Definitely Clarkes Doodles for me, especially since dd1's effectively did her 2 years!

Have busy day tomorrow need to make chocolate cakes for christening so I can ice them on Saturday
I've decided to reuse dd1s Castle and do pink baby blocks with Beth spelt out

So that will leave baking tins free for cheese cakes[yum]
