OK, you can have specific stuff for the machines, like laundry powder and dishwasher stuff and I'll chuck in a free bottle of Fairy washing up liquid, but for the rest of the house?

And not vinegar.
I don't care that it has amazing properties, I don't want my house to smell like a fish and chip shop.

Method mint spray, divine!

GrubbyWindows · 17/07/2017 09:45

Good cloths, water, bioD loo cleaner for all limescale dissolving, bicarb for scrubbing. And a magic eraser for drawing on the wall incidents.

Owlish · 17/07/2017 09:48

Ooh, I just bought the Method grapefruit on Saturday. Lovely scent and won't poison my pets.

MusicToMyEars800 · 17/07/2017 09:52

Bleach
Dettol pomegranate and lime spray
Viakal

BoreOfWhabylon · 17/07/2017 10:43

Ohyesiam microfibre cloths clean beautifully with just water. ecloths polish glass/mirrors screens etc. For windows I use water in a spray bottle, squirt squirt, clean with microfibre, polish with ecloth. Damp dust/wipe surface etc with microfibre.

It's astonishing the amount of dirt they lift!

MrsBakedBean · 17/07/2017 16:39

Always surprised when people mention Febreeze. Isn't that just stuff that stinks and it actually has no cleaning power at all?

Orangebird69 · 17/07/2017 18:05

MrsBakedBean yes. That stuff is foul. If everywhere is clean there should be no need for stuff like febreeze in the first place!

PickAChew · 17/07/2017 18:18

Definitely bleach. I don't use a lot of it but it's the only thing I ever find myself needing other than hot soapy water and vinegar because our water is very hard

elQuintoConyo · 17/07/2017 18:21

DH.

Cleans everything. Doesn't smell.

Decsbetterhalf · 17/07/2017 18:23

Bleach

n0ne · 17/07/2017 18:29

Greenchoice lavender multi-purpose cleaner

booellesmum · 17/07/2017 18:29

Supermarket anti bacterial spray.
I clean everything with it.

Figaro2017 · 17/07/2017 18:32

Whisky. You get so pissed you don't notice the dirt.

DurhamDurham · 17/07/2017 18:40

I'd have to choose Stardrops as I can use that in the kitchen, bathroom as well as the windows and mirrors. All for 99p.

looneymumtoteens · 17/07/2017 18:41

CiF
Fairy Liquid
Domestos
Bought so many cleaning products over the years and I only now use these 3 x products 😘

Gotanewusernamenow · 17/07/2017 18:53

Agree with the microfibre cloths.

They pick up the dust so easy.

As long as you don't use fabric conditioner...or they won't work.

RockyBird · 17/07/2017 18:53

Cif

curuncule · 17/07/2017 19:19

Is there a bathroom spray that doesn't do foamy streaks instead of a good 'all over' spray?

bunnybleu · 17/07/2017 19:38

Method Wild Rhubarb anti-bac spray for me.

wowfudge · 17/07/2017 20:08

Stardrops Original, sugar soap and e cloths.

NoDecorum · 19/07/2017 14:07

Hot, soapy water made with Fairy Original for most jobs.
Bleach for loos, bins, and for occasionally adding a dash to the above hot soapy water for floors.
Vim for bathrooms
White vinegar and water spray for mirrors and windows.

I damp dust with microfibre cloths. No product needed, only water.

I do have a Zoflora collection too. Use for all sorts. Sprinkle in stinky trainers, stick a capful down the loo, wash down radiators with it.

NoDecorum · 19/07/2017 14:13

Sorry, you said don't say vinegar Grin

Louiselouie0890 · 19/07/2017 14:15

Bleach

Donttouchthethings · 19/07/2017 14:19

Ecover toilet cleaner which I also use on the sink, shower etc.

A steam cleaner.

Vinegar. (I don't think my house smells of it.)

Honu · 19/07/2017 18:40

Vanish Gold carpet cleaner and one of those paint scrapers which has the head at right angles to the handle. Fantastic for when you move the TV out from the corner and realise where the faint odour of crapping cat came from last Christmas Blush
