Flame - if you go with the 'antheabasket' idea, a trip to a fabric shop/haberdashery is required to find appropraite ribbon for 'antheabasket', pref. one with fruit/veg motif!

SKYTVADICT · 04/09/2006 11:12

My veg is kept in shed in a trolley type basket but still sprouts!

tortoise · 04/09/2006 11:14

I just looked at the top of my fridge and freezer and want to cry! I want it clear but don't have anywhere to put any of it!

Feel really low at the moment but not sure why.

Keep potatoes in the cupboard under the sink.
I keep my bread in the freezer and use as necessary, I just put it into the toaster frozen on a morning, no crumbs anywhere and it always gets used up as it doesn't go off in the freezer.
The onions should be kept in the fridge door where there is often a little lift up clear door, we keep garlic here as well as if they're kept in the main part of the fridge I find they can taint other food items with the smell.

HUNneyOnToast · 04/09/2006 11:21

keep spuds int eh garage

trinityrhino · 04/09/2006 11:23

tortoise · 04/09/2006 11:24

I only drink water during the day thanks to the FLY one! Before that was orange squash att.

There is playdough, kids paint bits and bowl of bits and bobs(that would normally be in a shed i guess).

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 11:26

Try gathering it all up Torty and put on the table, then work from the top and group items together, once it is all in piles you'll find it easier to decide where it lives. If you can, throw it away!

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 11:27

Ooh get you with your garages and sheds! What ya see is what ya get here - no secret hidden buildings!! I'm gonna go to lakeland and buy a spud bag later (actively avoiding anything anthea )

Also need hooks to hang up said bag, and tile sealant stuff....

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 11:29

Tort - one item at a time - pick up, find a home, then onto the next... babysteps

Rhino - just forget the bra - it'll appear when you stop looking.

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 11:31

No garage here. The shed is a concrete base (put down 5 years ago) and a pile of wood bought 6 months ago
The fridge has a microwave on it, and an iron on top of that (I too have a lack of space). I've cleaned the front of it, but then spent an hour trying to put pics on, and failing(I've got thm on photobucket, but can't get a nice little album like the others on here)

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 11:33

Where do you iron jasnem, in which room?

tortoise · 04/09/2006 11:36

I have a shed(well xp1 called it a playhouse!(shed with windows!))But its got bikes, scooters and other outdoor toys in plus a double buggy which ive put on ebay but doubt will sell as has few mould spots on it!
I need a Tool box!

tortoise · 04/09/2006 11:36

My iron lives under the sink.

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 11:37

If I'm doing alot, in the sitting room in front of tv. If it's only one or two things then in the kitchen.(Ironing board is also in kitchen.)

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 11:38

I have no cupboard under my sink, just a space (full of the bin, bucket, box of cleaning stuff)

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 11:39

?tortoise, why

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 11:40

Where is the best place to keep your iron, then?

JessaJam · 04/09/2006 11:41

Where should ones iron be stored?
I iron in the living room.
My ironing board leans against the wall ( sooo attractive and safe) and the iron is up on to of a sideboard in the ( adjoining) dining room, out of the way of ds!

HUNneyOnToast · 04/09/2006 11:42

in the garage

JessaJam · 04/09/2006 11:44

Cod......we don't all live in anthea-stylee executive detached homes you know

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 11:45

I don't know!
I have a utility room so it isn't a problem, but I still prefer to iron in the kitchen, not v.organised is it?
shame on you sorky!
I suppose in the room where you iron. The back of the utility door has one of those tidy things where you put the iron, wrap the cord and hang the board below it. The dryer is in there, and I keep the ironing pile there too, don't know why I lug it all to the kitchen. Hmm will think about that one.

HUNneyOnToast · 04/09/2006 11:46

lol
sorry

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 11:47

Admit it cod, you live in the garage don't you, so your house doesn't get messy
