Good pics flame; now go FLY!

Thank you RR; all fan mail and general adoration gratefullt accepted, although I realise you are the FLYbaby high priestess around here!

Tortoise - I love the home blessing thing - works better with a timer if you have one.

Hmmm, Kelly's mission for today may be a bit of a doddle for me! I have 3 things on the front o fmy fridge, all still relevant and as I can't reach the top of it, there is nothing up there, so just need to give it a dust...
Actually the clutter in my kitchen isn't nearly as bad as it is elsewhere...but it does need a good clean ( we have 2 dogs and they basically live in the kitchen...)

ocd · 04/09/2006 09:43

flame do you never was h up?
go i have to wash up every night before we go to bed

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 09:44

They were taken last night before I did the dishes.

JessaJam · 04/09/2006 09:47

Until I started FLYing I would regularly ( make that practically every day) go to bed with a dirty sink and a worktop covered in dinner plates, saucepans and mugs...and I wouldn't do washing up before leaving for work in the morning, so it sit there for nearly 24 hours and I'd do the washing up when dh pleaded for a clean pan to cook dinner with!!! And the accumulated washing up for a whole day (plus a bit) takes AGES to get through...

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 09:54

JJ - me too. I would wash the stuff in the sink in order to refill it with fresh dirty stuff, and "leave it to soak" until the next time I had more than I could fit in the bowl.

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 09:55

I have been doing the dishes more since I started the sink shining - I would kill for a dishwasher though... life is sooo much easier if you just have pots to wash!

I am finding it a lot better now that we always have clean cups

Jasnem · 04/09/2006 09:58

I dream of a dishwasher...
I have also realised I've gone without a cup of tea to avoid making the dirty cup/spoiling the sink!

I don't seem to be receiving the emails anymore, not sure how that happened
Well today I have emptied dishwasher and reloaded breakfast, fed everyone, opened post and dealt with, the beds are airing, washing on line.
Today I have brought the kids car seats in to wash the covers, cos they're starting to smell!
I'm off to do the blessing thing, then the fridge I think.
I've got 2 Tumbletots classes this afternoon and school uniform to collect from school, so that means sowing labels this evening.
Hope it all goes according to plan!

ocd · 04/09/2006 10:00

i am stunned that you coudl SLEEP wiht dirty dishesin teh sink

sorkycake · 04/09/2006 10:01

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 10:05

See cod, this is why we are doing this. We know that our houses and lives are a big pile of cr*p, hence trying to get it sorted. When you've been like it for years though, it takes a while to get straight.

sorryLong · 04/09/2006 10:06

Good morning.

Its just taken nearly half and hour to catch up on emails (UK and USA) and threads i'm on!

Shocked to hear about Steven Irwin, its really said.

Up, dressed, swished and swiped with two loads of washing on.

Builing up to weekly home blessing but putting it off a bit. Was hoping to get a new hoover over the weekend but we've been really busy.

Hi sheepgomeep - no doubt be speaking to you on the "due in may 2007 thread".

I've been flying for two weeks now and all seems to be going very well - house is looking a lot better.

Anyway, gotta get on NOW!! The computer is very distracting!

Flamesparrow · 04/09/2006 10:28

I tend to go and play at Psycho's house....

Now tryin to find the suncream in my lounge...

Cappuccino · 04/09/2006 10:29

well dd1 has gone off to school having completed her morning routines and got stickers in her control journal

couldn't actually bring myself to call it that - it is actually called dd's Big Good Sticker Book

but it did mean that she ate her breakfast and made sure she had everything and read her book and did her stretches just so she could get the stickers

domestickler · 04/09/2006 10:29

I want DD to have a Big Good Book. What did you put it in it?
