Morning everyone!

Anyone who wants to join us this is the flylady website.

This week we are in the kitchen zone; happy flying!

Trinity, well done you! Little bit by little bit and you will get there.
Definitley suppport the idea of 10 minutes of clearing/washing/ironing/putting away at a time. I did 15 mins of ironing yesterday and then put it all straight away. Must admit though there is a 'limbo' stage where clean clothes sit in a basket in the corner of the dining room between being dry and being ironed, and this limbo stage can last days!

hazelnuts · 07/09/2006 17:38

Hi JessaJam Thanks for the welcome.
Hope to meet a few more mums once I find way round

SusiS · 07/09/2006 17:38

kitchen is still clean - and that after cooking dinner and eating it. dishes are in the dishwasher and sink is shiny(ish) - i have to get a toothbrush! i found a few spots all around still mucky and greasy

soon bathtime for kids and while i do that i'll put todays washing away! (i normally hate that job and it piles and piles and piles) - but it might actually work if i do it every day little by little ... baby steps
(and ironing??? nawwww!)

and trinity: another YES for your collection

JessaJam · 07/09/2006 17:43

hazelnuts · 07/09/2006 17:44

Hi SusiS My kitchen is clean now and the sink is like new

hazelnuts · 07/09/2006 17:46

JessaJam · 07/09/2006 17:52

Bollards, can't find the thing now! Argh! Anyway, I think the best way, if you just want to dive in, is to click on 'without buying/selling' on the Active Conversations line up at the top of the page. Shows you what the current 'live' threads are.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 07/09/2006 17:54

welcome hazlenuts.
just dive straight into active convos at the top.It will show you the most recent conversations or goto by topic if there is a specific area of interest for you.

Hey crazy people!!!

I have had this window open since 3pm, Just finished reading it and it all sounds exciting! I am 16 weeks pg and over the tiredness (have been debating Flylady since week 6!)

Although I think Im a saddo already as I always have a shiny sink! Washing in this house is a nightmare, as is toys! Plus we moved 8 weeks ago and still trying to unpack! But I am getting there slowly. DP didnt recognise the house when he came in!

Can I join you ladies...Just off now to sign up to flylady!

Julie x x

oh forgot to say I have a ds who is 4 and just started full time school, I could get used to this being in the house alone lark! At least till Jan when baby comes!

tamsino · 07/09/2006 18:20

Hi everyone,

I'm on day 8 but haven't managed to organise a journal yet. I do have a shiny sink though, i've sorted out all of our recycling and my kitchen is clean. just a few minutes to do a couple of the kitchen drawers later and i'll be done.

:-)

samnbabes · 07/09/2006 18:25

Hello all
Is this the most active thread on mn? Saddo city.
Did 15mins of clothes sorting - demolished 3 piles. Hurrah.

hazelnuts · 07/09/2006 18:41

Well I best go for a while and get the little uns bath and ready for bed. Dont like the early morning starts now. Never mind it will soon be the weekend. Talk again soon I hope.

singersgirl · 07/09/2006 18:43

I wear flip-flops sometimes, but bare feet at the mo.

Was no-one impressed that my sorting out led to finding all that loose foreign money in the house? We could live for weeks on it....
