tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 20:30

I didn't get the mission email either.Guess the site is overwhelmed with FLYers wanting the doll!!

Cappuccino · 06/09/2006 20:30

yes it has crashed

dolls are being flung out wildly across the United States

first person to spot one on a sitcom wins a prize

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 20:31

Probably why the site's crashed

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 20:31

Quick check Ebay!!!!!

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 20:32

Is the sitcom thing serious??

(I tend to believe anything, so if ita joke, then in nadvance!!!)

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 20:40

Its back - and I just got Kelly's mission.

The doll is just plain scary!!!

Cappuccino · 06/09/2006 20:40

no that was a joke

but we can do it ourselves if you like

prize is a doll

Cappuccino · 06/09/2006 20:43

snort

love the details - bosoms and lace-up shoes

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 20:49

That is one ugly doll!!

mummy2ashton · 06/09/2006 20:56

hiya, how is everyone doing? i've just been to visit my cousin in hospital, so still not cleared up the dinner dishes or anything . but i will go and do them all now so my sink is nice and shiney tomorrow morning, i know i will be thankful for it in the morning.

also, got talking to my friend, she asked if she could call round for coffee sometime this week. instead of me usually saying "call first incase i am out" (which actually means so i can tidy up or decide that house is too messy and say no to coffee) i said for her to call round anytime, im always home! see? tidy house is making a difference to my social life! [smug fly lady swot emoticon]

Quootiepie · 06/09/2006 20:57

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 21:01

Hi Q.I thought DH had gone back to work! Can you not FLY around him? he can have ds so you can get on.
Ive not done much in the last 2 days.
At least by 1pm my headache finally went.2 and 1/2 days of it.Grrr!

calebsmummy · 06/09/2006 21:05

We are insane Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flame, C thinks I'm mad anyway, but still likes FlyLady lots cos he has a shiny sink now. have told my mum, who kinda sounded like she thought I was a loony (twas on the phone) and shall test out my powers of looniness on MIL at the weekend....should be fun Staying at hers on Staurday night so may be I will shine her sink!!

I really haven't done anything but load the dishwasher today [shame] oh and eat chocolate cake at the party. But because we have been out all day it really hasn't become too messy so I am ok for this evening.

Have a friend over in the morning for coffee but nothing in the afternoon so will FLY then. Tired now, need to sleep.

mummyhill · 06/09/2006 21:53

Sink is shiny, washing got done today, swished and swipped then forgot about flying and enjoyed myself instead as it's my birthday.

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 21:59

I told my mum the ideas of it, and then she accidentally came across the site by herself that same day (and she NEVER just randomly uses the internet) - we think it was fate

(Yup, tis genetic sadness...)

The sitcom thing - it was the kind of mad thing that I could picture them doing!!!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 22:01

Happy Birthday mummyhill.
for you.

SusiS · 06/09/2006 22:17

evening. is there room for another sado??
haven't had the time yet to read anything properly (besides this thread ) - don't know exactly how i actually landed up on here because it says 'good housekeeping' and that's so not me!!!!

learnt that i have to wear shoes (not so sure about that! have you finished your tests yet re shoes yes or no?!) while shining the sink and sweep a bit more ....

sounds exhausting!

had actually a rather 'good' day today. no idea how that happened but i guess i have to keep myself busy because i am on a diet; and that way i can't stuff myself all the time
2 loads of washing and 2 dishwashers and grocery shopping.

hmm, tried the shiny sink thingy - is there a chart i can compare it too?? don't know if it's shiny enough

domestickler · 06/09/2006 22:44

SusiS there is no shiny enough as our leader and master FLYlady says that any effort is blessing your home and family. Dont get caught up in perfection. Let it all go and FinallyLoveYourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 22:50

Welcome SusiS.
As you can see tortoises do not wear shoes! i find i do more without shoes on.

BarefootJasnem · 06/09/2006 23:06

Still shoe less here, nd getting stuff done. I've been out and busy most of the day, but washed up and cleaned sink before bed, and sat and stuck stickers in my new calendar. (I've also used one week ro stick on the fridge with weekly routines on it (mostly kids activities at the moment as I can't remember what I'm supposed to be doing when)

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 06/09/2006 23:07

I keep lol at our new names!

shazronnieWEARINGSHOES · 06/09/2006 23:35

welcome susis to the slightly loony but definitely effective Flylady thread.

I want a Flylady doll even though it looks like a dust collecting piece of cluttery junk!

Had a good day in the kitchen, wiped the cupboard doors for the first time I can remember! Cleaned the oven but that wasn't too hard because it is only 5 weeks old, and of course I shined my sink!

squatchette · 07/09/2006 05:30
