Morning everyone!

Anyone who wants to join us this is the flylady website.

This week we are in the kitchen zone; happy flying!

I can't decide if i should do some FLYing in the kitchen OR make the most of the dry,warm,sunny day and cut the grass which really does need doing and im child free until 5.30.

I would do the grass whilst the weather holds.

(I don't know anything about the abuse lady, but I didn't want you to think I was ignoring it, so thought I should mention... now I sound all waffly)

She is a domestic abuse outreach worker and was discusing with me if i felt xp2 was abusive.It was more emotional than anything and he never hit me,but because of the stuff with ds1 i have been advised to do some work with her looking into what is considered an abusive relationship!

Ok Im off to do the grass then!

Right,grass is cut! Im hot and sweating now!15 min break now i think.

I know - I'll take a before picture and tidy it up then I'll take an after picture like that insane Flylady thread...then you can see how bad it is.

And apologies to Sky - I didn't mean any offence by the pub comment, I was just really really jealous !!

Tortoise - well done for mowing the grass, I did ours on Monday and it makes it look so much better I just know I need to do it more often. But it's amazing that we actually have green grass now - by the end of July it was looking like the Arizona desert here!!

have had a good flying day today - quite a bit done plus made plum jam and some pasta sauce for the freezer. Kids are back from school, shattered, and so we're about to watch a dvd together in our tidy sitting room

Ive just moved some bits rounf=d in the front room and it looks a little better!

Yep, we are all a little odd! And I can't beleive I'm doing it, because I am SO not a routine, organised 'get a load of laundry ready the night before to put in the machine the next morning' person...
But it does feel good...to do small bits and don't sweat the BIG stuff!!

Instead of tupperware cupboard yesterday I did the under sink cupboard! Now it is all tidy and I have thrown away all the mouldy dishcloths and out of date dog flea sprays etc!

Oh goody, clearing out the fridge today...later ok?

I cleaned the fridge out last time and scrubed it so it doesn't need doing again!

No offence taken Amanda P. I have been known to stay at the pub from breakfast til 11 and have an early lunch (including alcohol) and then wobble up to school to fetch the DDs. Shame I can't do it at the mo tho

OK, now as new saddo, ur, flybaby, I tried wearing shoes today ... and am afraid to say I think it worked. Oh no, flylady knows EVERYTHING... Will try 'blind product test' style experiment with no shoes tomorrow.
Am not quite sure I'm doing things right - am getting a bit carried away, but I have:
shined my sink,
cleaned out toaster,
cleaned out rubbish from fridge and wiped most of it
cleaned top of cooker. with a toothbrush ffs
hoovered the grass
did a load of washing

AND felt full of energy/self satisfied smugness all day

Well done on a great start but be careful not to over do it too quick and get burnt out.

ur, mowed grass actually. although at this rate will be hoovering it by next week...

I have had another day in bed but have raised my head just long enough to see how you're all doing

I have to agree with the previous sentiments about it making you feel better - specifically I have been much less stressed about being ill cos I know I can 'jump right in where we are' when I'm better rather than trying to catch up with all the things I've missed

I can't get onto the flylady website...I'm trying not to descend into panic....

JJ - even more organised... sort the laundry, put in machine (with powder etc) the night before, then just get up and press go in the morning .

I heard DH saying to DD today "No, don't tear up the paper or you'll get bits on the carpet and mummy will be angry" I've scared them out of having fun!!!! I honestly don't mind what she does during the day AS LONG AS IT IS CLEARED AWAY BEFORE BED!

Will have to have a chat with DH.......

I had an email to say the FLY lady dolls are now on sale! Couldn't get on the web site though.
