Yeah it was ok! They all decided to keep the 4 dc on the at risk register until court finishes.
Just basically a review of the last 6 months and how the situation is going and if the dc are ok with it for now!

DontlookatmeImshy · 05/09/2006 22:49

Hope your cousin is ok M2A.

DontlookatmyfeetImshoeless · 05/09/2006 22:53

I don't do shoes either.

I did try butmy feet just got really hotand sweaty and I hate that.

tortoisesdonotwearshoes · 05/09/2006 22:56

Ive done a mini FLY in the kitchen so the dishwasher is now on.Lunch boxes emptied and rinsed ready for me to make in the morning.
Highchairs wiped down and bits picked up off floor.
Also had to clear the bathroom floor so it can dry out!Bit of a water fight at bath time.

Now I really must do some clearing in the front room.(see im FLYing more with shoes OFF!!)

At least Ruby is making some effort and wearing flip flops!

The rest of you - well - PAH!!

Glad yesterday went ok Tortoise, but I am disappointed you took off your shoes.

cappucino - put some shoes on it might make you feel better!

M2A - best wishes for your cousin. She is permitted to remain shoeless in hospital.

MrsFio · 06/09/2006 07:55

can someone explain to me how this flybaby thing works, my house is a nightmare. I need real help

trinityrhino · 06/09/2006 07:57

please don't make me wear shoes, before kids I didn't wear them outside uless it was winter

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 08:08

I wore shoes yesterday when I was doing my post school run clean... and got the same amount done, just felt too tall and uncomfortable. Will try it with them off today and see if there is a difference...

tamsino · 06/09/2006 08:11

Have to say I think wearing shoes makes a difference! It means I dont put off things like getting the washing off the line, or putting the bin out. Have to be comfy flatties though....

sorry, feel like the school swat.

boomie · 06/09/2006 08:11

Ok, I'm new to all this. Can anyone explain what I need to be doing today specifically - is it still tupperware cupboard? Will check on FLYLady's site too. I am dressed but not to shoes but am going to give them a go this morning.

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 08:15

Today's mission is to clean out all the off stuff etc from the fridge. I did mine on Monday though so am tackling my cooker, and doing new tile sealant.

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 08:16

So........ do the missions just repeat?

trinityrhino · 06/09/2006 08:26

can't find any sock for dd1, pilkes of clothes(clean and dirty) everywhere. shit I hate myslef, I have a stinking cold today and really just want to crawl back to bed. why can't I get a grip

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 08:28

Deep breath. Tis nice weather - do they need socks???

Is your sink clean? If so, go curl up in a corner somewhere until later, and we'll come check on you then

DontlookatmyfeetImshoeless · 06/09/2006 08:42

I'mbeing a rebel and have no sockson either

Trinity take it easy and go to bed, give yourself a break.

trinityrhino · 06/09/2006 09:02

morning all, thanks for your kind words, can't go to bed dd2 would wreck the place and hurt herself. the weather here is throwing it down with rain and cold, managed to finsd a vagueky clean pair of socks. ugh with myself

damewashalot · 06/09/2006 09:23

tr you sound like me every day for the last few weeks of last term, ds1 had sock this week because I bought new ones we will get there, babysteps and all that, go put some washing on including socks, then you will have some tomorrow

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 09:56

I always forget that we don't all have the same weather

Tile sealant done - not desperately well, but anything is an improvement on mouldy/rotting right?? One patch wouldn't take though so I have about 1/2 inch of the old stuff in the middle of gleaming white .

Washing on line, another lot waiting to when the first is dry, nappies in, baby fed and soon to be in bed... time for coffee and book???

BarefootJasnem · 06/09/2006 10:01

Ooooh, my organised mumcalendar is here!
Can I go and play with it?

Kitchen's clean, washing is on the line, shopping is done, I've just got in and have still got flip flops on ( I leave them by the back door so I can wear them to get washing in if it's very wet outside, but I have no problem going out barefoot, so shoes don't reallu make a difference here (Except to make me more likely to fall down my dangerously narrow and steep stairs)

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 10:04

Is your fridge cleared out? If so, go play

boomie · 06/09/2006 10:06

Well, my first day and I've swished and swiped the bathroom, one load of washing done and in dryer, second lot in washer. DD2 is watching Cbeebies happily (a miracle). Next job to tackle the fridge. Wow, I feel quite motivated (lets see how motivated after day 38 ). FLYlady says before you tackle a zone you should have done the vacuuming - is this the whole house!?

Flamesparrow · 06/09/2006 10:08

Oh, and I do know that I should have removed the old sealant first, but since its not my house, and they should be doing stuff like this for me, I really couldn't be arsed - if the new stuff all falls off, then I am no worse off than I was in the first place iyswim

Hoovering... Do 15 mins, and stop - regardless of how much is done.

BarefootJasnem · 06/09/2006 10:16

Can't play now, just remembered I am supposed to be at the dentist.
