Don't say everything. It doesn't have to be particularly gruelling, or time consuming, or disgusting, but I bet you have one household task that you hate out of all proportion.

For me, it's putting away washing. I don't much like hanging it out to dry, but putting it away in drawers and wardrobes, when the coat hangers are tangling with each other, and there's only one of each sock... Shudder.

Yep here too. Doing the big fold as we say and putting it away.

Marrow · 02/12/2013 22:43

Ironing. Hate it with a passion.

Ruprekt · 02/12/2013 22:44

Hoovering the stairs! AngryAngryAngry

sleepyhead · 02/12/2013 22:44

Cleaning out that bit at the back of the fridge that gets all gunky and overflows.

In fact all fridge cleaning. I'd rather clean the oven.

(I rarely do either mind you).

WhispersOfWickedness · 02/12/2013 22:46

Loading and unloading the dishwasher. I think it is because it feels like a big job but it's one that has to be done everyday. Mind you, it could be worse, it could be washing up Grin

gomummygoes · 02/12/2013 22:47

Ironing. Hate hate hate it. And I truly enjoy most other household tasks, so I'm not exactly sure why I hate it so much but arrrrrgh! Maybe because I ignore it until it forms a small mountain in the laundry room

ChippingInLovesChristmasLights · 02/12/2013 22:49

If putting it away is your bugbear - do you have over stuffed cupboards & drawers?

Hemming trousers. It doesn't take that long, it's not that big a job, it's not even nasty... but I will put it off until it becomes and emergency situation. Go figure!

DramaAlpaca · 02/12/2013 22:50

Another vote for ironing.

KillerOfThreads · 02/12/2013 22:50

Dusting.....looks like you've done nothing within nanoseconds!

RemindMeWhatSleepIs · 02/12/2013 22:50

PacificDogwood · 02/12/2013 22:50

Hate putting away clean and folded laundry (I love the folding though Blush).

Closely followed by dusting... what's the bloody point?! Hmm

I would hate ironing if I did any Grin

ChippingInLovesChristmasLights · 02/12/2013 22:52

Whispers - I have fixed that problem. I refuse to have a dishwasher, I'd sooner do them by hand than load & unload a dishwasher! Shame you don't feel the same - it's an easy solution to an age old problem!

ChippingInLovesChristmasLights · 02/12/2013 22:52

Dusting - a damp cloth helps it last.

...a bit.

mydaftlass · 02/12/2013 22:53

Ironing. I only buy things that I can get away without ironing.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:55

Putting the wash in the dryer. It's a trek in the cold to the shed at the bottom of the garden. Pure laziness.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 22:57

And nobody gets matching socks in my house.

You've got two on, job done.

comemulledwinewithmoi · 02/12/2013 23:00

Using the tumble drier in the garage
Putting clothes away
Making beds

JollySantersSelectionBox · 02/12/2013 23:00

Cleaning all the crappy gunk out of the plug hole or the dishwasher filter.

vichill · 02/12/2013 23:03

Hacking out weeds in between the flagstones on the drive. It makes me feel so stabby towards dh afterwards for some reason.

InTheRedCorner · 02/12/2013 23:04

Putting washing away is mine as well.

Picking up dog poo in the garden is a close second.

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 02/12/2013 23:12

Emptying bins, cleaning toilet especially if DH has been near it

AllDirections · 02/12/2013 23:15

Hoovering anywhere

Closely followed by cleaning the oven so I pay to get it cleaned

I like all laundry related chores. No odd socks or tangled coathangers here Grin

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 23:18

vichill you can have your drive varnished or something. Sealed with some stuff. Then you'll have more time for mning putting away the folding.

flippingebay · 02/12/2013 23:18

Getting the Hoover or ironing board out.. I actually quite enjoy born hoovering and ironing but HATE HATE HATE getting the stuff out
