Don't say everything. It doesn't have to be particularly gruelling, or time consuming, or disgusting, but I bet you have one household task that you hate out of all proportion.

For me, it's putting away washing. I don't much like hanging it out to dry, but putting it away in drawers and wardrobes, when the coat hangers are tangling with each other, and there's only one of each sock... Shudder.

Oh god, I used to have to shovel pissy dog wee gravel into bin bags as my dear departed German Shepherd was too old to go walkies. Extra grim.

FastWindow · 02/12/2013 23:23

Know what I love though? Doing a massive shop and then getting it all out on the sides (and proudly showing dh what good bargains I got) and putting it all away.

I get a bit unreasonable when he offers to do it.

OpalTourmaline · 03/12/2013 09:39

Putting away washing. (I don't mind hanging it up to dry.)

Weelady77 · 03/12/2013 09:41

I hate dusting so I damp wipe everyday! Closely followed by changing the beds myself so strip them in morning and get someone to help me at night, DH will moan and I'll say I've been airing the beds that shuts him upWink

helzapoppin2 · 03/12/2013 09:50

It's probably that moment where I think "What shall we have for dinner?"
I've been married 31 years, and was cooking way before that! I really think the government should send us out congratulatory medals for thinking up x million nutritious meals, every ten years. I just wish somebody/anybody would acknowledge the effort involved!
Yes, I would have to draw Dh a map of how to find the kitchen, but he does the Christmas dinner, which is his contribution, but then we all know what to eat on Christmas Day!

delasi · 03/12/2013 09:52

Washing the dishes. We don't have a dishwasher and no space for one. In reality it's not a hard job, it's just the one I never want to do so it gets left to DH Grin Tbf on me though, I do everything else. I actually like doing laundry, cleaning the kitchen, putting stuff away, cleaning the plugholes etc Blush But the dishes... nope.

LittleMymble · 03/12/2013 11:17

I hate putting the duvet cover on - not really sure why? I'd rather empty the stinky nappy bin than change our sheets.

Fifibluebell · 03/12/2013 11:25

Washing up! Hmm Soooooooo booooorrrrrrring

Bonsoir · 03/12/2013 11:26

Ironing. It's dull and tiring.

Bonsoir · 03/12/2013 11:27

Hear hear!

Cleaning the juicer every bloody day. I have timed myself doing it and it only takes five minutes but I still put it off until the last minute. I am ill in bed ATM and the loo is covered in poo. How do I scrape it off? I have tried bleach, loo brush and MrMuscle. Do I need to scour it off with a scouters?

OpalTourmaline · 03/12/2013 12:03

Oh yes. I said putting away washing was the worst, but I take it back. Putting new bedding on is worse than that. Especially onto bunk beds!

moogalicious · 03/12/2013 12:26

Lunchboxes. Only take minutes but I hate it. And I have three to do.

javotte · 03/12/2013 12:29

I don't mind ironing.
I don't mind most household tasks, but I HATE tidying up. I cannot stand picking up everyone's stuff and spending hours putting each thing back in its place.

HECTheHeraldAngelsSing · 03/12/2013 12:30

skirting boards. I hate doing the skirting boards. For some reason, it actually angers me. Grin

FastWindow · 03/12/2013 12:31

chipping Try pushing all the water back round the ubend and then emptying a kettle full of boiling water directly on the poo?

littleomar · 03/12/2013 12:34

Changing bed linen, followed by hoovering.

flipchart · 03/12/2013 12:37

Putting the bed linen back on.
Even though it takes two minutes and DH helps.

Just annoys me.

AlyssInAManger · 03/12/2013 12:37

I don't like washing up because I don't like standing in one place

honeybeeridiculous · 03/12/2013 12:49

HATE;Ironing, don't do it anymore, tumble dry and fold
Changing bedlinen
Cleaning oven
Hate getting washing off line, but enjoy hanging it out Hmm

Rattitude · 03/12/2013 12:54

It is either dusting or hoovering for me.

I like ironing as I can watch a film whilst doing it. Can't do that with hoovering or dusting.

Chippingnortonset123 · 03/12/2013 13:02

Thanks, fast window, I'll try that when I get up. It appears to be spot welded on.

helzapoppin2 · 03/12/2013 13:12

Thank you bonsoir!

feelingdizzy · 03/12/2013 13:12

Also putting laundry away, also hate putting away food shopping.

PaulSmenis · 03/12/2013 13:43

Folding and putting away clothes.
