Evening all!

Sound like you have had interesting/active days.
Think I'm losing the will to live a bit here!

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 21:49

BBC2 1972

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:05

I just made dh stop "Captain America" to watch it. We have missed most of it. I will look for it on the iplayer.

I was making jewellery until dh put the lights off to watch the film. Fairy lights and tiny little beads don't really go. Hmm

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 22:10

I'm sooooo lonely....

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:12

Is that a plea for chat bessie or are you singing to us?

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 22:20

it's a song from Captain America (I think)

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:22

Aha! I don't think we have got to that bit yet.

So far I am bored senseless by violence, explosions etc

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:23

There is a man with lots of red face paint and some cliched jumping, diving, sprawling, kissing etc.

educatingarti · 28/04/2012 22:26

Sounds exactly like my sort of film too Carrots - not!

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:30

It is predictable and entirely tedious. It was interesting to begin with but has dragged on and on and on...

I would rather be playing with my beads Grin

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:30

Do you sing in the church choir Arti?

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 22:32

ah... I have realised that I am thinking of team america Blush

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:34

Oh I have endured Team America too - I must have blocked out the song Grin

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 22:37

Team america was funny (honest!) - I only really "do" funny stuff - I CBA with anything else (apart from 1972 progs obvs!)

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:42

Dh says I got fed up with it too and he had to watch that by himself too. Blush

I would probably enjoy it more at the cinema.

Aaaaarrrrrgggggghhhhhhh! Dh is torturing me. We were watching it on dvd. He has just put the tv on and it is on tv. Aaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh! He is actually watching it.

If I felt healthier I would have to have a Wine

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 22:44

go to bed!

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 22:52

He has turned it over... to football

I think I will go to bed.

educatingarti · 28/04/2012 22:57

Carrots - its kind of more a music group than a choir - but yes I do sing and help lead worship at church. Twice per month at the moment as this is all I can manage with health issues but I do enjoy it.

We can have a variety of music/instruments/singers depending on who is rota'd that day. Any combination of singers, lead guitar, acoustic guitar, bass, drums, sax, oboe, keyboard, flute.

M, who is worship leader for tomorrow tends to choose a lot of quite folky stuff.

This is the "new" song we are doing tomorrow.

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 23:07

This seems a bit inappropriate after your link Arti Blush but this is for bessie

Now I am off to cleanse myself by having a look at Arti's link.

My dmum sings in the church choir. I can remember her practising around the house and always knew she was happy if I heard her singing. She won't sing in the house anymore because a neighbour commented about being able to hear her and she is too embarrassed. Sad

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 23:12

Arti dh says it sounds like Florence and the Machine. Your church is clearly a bit more forward thinking than the churches I grew up going to.

I have been in folky mood this week and listening to in an attempt to calm myself down a bit.

educatingarti · 28/04/2012 23:21

Carrots - I enjoyed I am so ronery and Kate Rusby too.

Lol at Florence and the Machine.

Which reminds me: I was talking to a dyslexic student this morning about when to spell words ending in ll and when just l. As an example of a single l word she came up with lol Hmm

carrotsandcelery · 28/04/2012 23:30

I can remember getting text speak in essays now and again. The most regular and non text speak mistake I saw was the title "S - A" for an essay. It took me a while to realise what it meant the first time Hmm

bessie26 · 28/04/2012 23:39

That took me an embarrassing number of seconds to work out Blush

CatsSleepAnywhere · 29/04/2012 06:08

Morning all,

bessie26 · 29/04/2012 07:36

Morning!
