Don't think I have done anything of value on the list today as am at work. Am chuffed as one of my customers -think major oil company has sent me a present! A truck and race car, with lights and batteries. Its brilliant.

Hello HMHB. Still ill, bleugh. But have managed to have a half decent day. Just back from the village carol singing thing which was nice. Mince pies and mulled wine passed around, so can't be all bad!

Children screeching and running in the dark..... straight into Y1 (DD's year!) teacher!!!! Ah well, the other mum and I just stood in the dark bit, hoping she didn't spot us to give us the evils about our tearaways!

Reasonably organised here but a few things to cover off tomorrow:

• Wash everything that just got filthy with DC rolling around on the grass at the carol singing
• Make sheps pie plus one to freeze
• Clean out car (disgusting it is)
• Things down from loft we need
• Buy seeds, last bit of Mum's present...
• Tidy playroom
• Pack car for day/night out Friday
• Few things out of freezer to defrost in the fridge by Saturday
• Trumpet the arrival of my heinously expensive hand-reared and molly coddled turkey..... all 5 kilos of it. But hey, if it's good enough for a 2 star Michelin Chef then.... I'm still bound to cock it up!

LOL HMHB - i did wonder why you were so pleased with your gift d they know you have DC? hope so!

My phone has been shipped according to the website, can't wait.
We have no other HD tv stuff so no i probably won't use it! Anyway, it wasn't any cheaper to go with just a 4 or a 3GS so we'll see. DH is happy too so that's a relief as it's an expense we'd just cut down on (from 45 to 10.50 a month, now back up to 36).

Wed:

• DH doing Asda run (his choice) DONE
• orch concert in a bit DONE
• friends DS coming to play here DONE
• DC tea & tidy up DONE
• DC to bed DONE
• tackle desk mess DONE lots
• our dinner DH cooking & early-ish night

Thurs:

• DH has some work
• we have no plans (poss see if any friends at a loose end)
• need new lightbulb for new lamp
• need kids toothpaste
• breakfast, lunch & dinner
• I have my last orch concert in the evening
• DH going to a drinks thing (sitter booked)

Christmas:

• last few presents to buy; DH has done his parents! (though i think it's a bit small for her, may see if I can see something bigger to add from around the corner)
• put cards up as they come; DONE MORE
• get spare room ready for PIL (coming Fri)
• food shopping; last few bits on Fri
• what else?

Ongoing:

• book handyman in to clean gutters (& other jobs)
• order blind for kitchen side door
• pictures to label 'animals' & 'people' & 'cars' boxes
• watch Prison Break DVDs & give back to PIL; Started; Done more
• clean oven; Bought Oven Pride
• get kitchen curtains dry cleaned
• family tree (scanning in old certs & photos & email new contact)
• tackle Areas of Doom;
• buy some frames that will hang on the wall & hang up as many photos as poss; need some sizes; Bought 1 to test no good, need to keep looking

JKS - they are a collectors item apparently . We checked and its worth about £15. They were sent to everyone regardless of whether they had kids or no.

I am still here, still poorly but getting much better. DH is a day behind me and is really suffering so he's asleep already.

DS2 has got antibiotics, he has got a chest infection. I think he is teething as well, and on top of this cold. Poor little chap.
I am so happy we're away for Christmas, we can just flop down and get better.

Right need to do a little more wrapping and then bed.

Ali - I am no better, actually feel worse today than I did yesterday, mostly due to lack of sleep I think.... and I have so much to do, and it all needs to be done by 2pm!
