HMHB - yes that is exactly it, use-by dates. I am not massively bothered, but I don't want things to be so, so overripe that I can't bear to go near!
I wish my DC were in bed! DS1 is fast asleep, but DS2 woke up about 20 minutes after my last post and is currently refusing to settle. DH is shut away upstairs working and I refuse to just keep pacing and feeding so DS2 is playing on the living room floor. He is perkier than he's been all day actually after some inhaler, although I can hear him wheezing from here.
I have chocolate though, so not all bad
