Hello mammoth :)

DONE
Lie in until almost 9am!

All up dressed and fed
Unload dishwasher and clear up kitchen
Hoover round downstairs
Play trains with DS1
Finish the last bits of unpacking
Mealplan up to Tuesday night
Recycling out and bins
Food shop
Lunch and clear up
Bread dough for rolls into the breadmaker
Tidy spare room and put the sheets on to wash

TO DO
Drink
Make pastry
Put a fruit loaf in the breadmaker
Quick hoover and dust upstairs
Re-make spare bed
Make curries ready for tomorrow
Dinner
Boys bath and bed

Evening all, right 2nd Christmas done, now I can finally start putting stuff away and tidying up!

Tomorrow:

• empty boxes down from loft
• Christmas decorations down, packed up (in some sort of order) & put in loft
• start planning for a few days away in Jan
• hoovering if all decs done
• find homes for some (all?) of the new toys!

Ongoing:

• book handyman in to clean gutters (& other jobs)
• order blind for kitchen side door
• pictures to label 'animals' & 'people' & 'cars' boxes
• watch Prison Break DVDs & give back to PIL; Started; Done more
• clean oven; Bought Oven Pride
• get kitchen curtains dry cleaned
• family tree (scanning in old certs & photos & email new contact)
• tackle Areas of Doom;
• buy some frames that will hang on the wall & hang up as many photos as poss; need some sizes; Bought 1 to test no good, need to keep looking
• sort iPhoto on laptop; Book Genius appt for Jan
• bathroom cabinet needs sorting
• fill out Organised Mum calendar; Started

Not done too badly -
I made it through work despite being ill (grrr)
Have booked my next OU course (child development, really excited!)
Reserved 2 recommended books for said course at the library

The office drawer mystery.
Can anyone tell me why, after sorting paper clips, Sellotape, pens, glue, post-it's, and throwing away sundry tat, there is no room for everything that was in there before. I know the containers take up room, but I blame it on quantum physics.

Mulled - I have seen that office drawer first hand and am not surprised. Tis like stuff left over after having made ikea furniture. try throwing more stuff away. Or archiving.

Dh did some hoovering but insisted on doing it first so now needs doing again.
Toys in playroom at least but it's a bombsite.
Am doing kids diaries re Christmas presents & list for thankyous.

Kids tea bath & bed, then collapse time.

Well my personal resolutions are:
Get back to normal weight (ahem 2 stone to lose!)
Get some boring work done on house (gutters, some painting, odd jobs,etc)
&
Visit the dentist at least once

Back in one of my old names now. Aaaah, comfortable :)

Plan hols etc in advance so don't get stressed
Do meal plans so don't get stressed when get home from work
Go to hairdressers/spa more than 2 times a year

We are off for a few days from tomorrow, so mostly tomorrow morning is about packing.

How is it that I had a laundry marathon just the other day yet both laundry baskets are overflowing ?

Pre-trip:

• some laundry
• pack bed stuff for DC
• pack toys for DC
• pack chargers, phones & cameras
• load up car...

My resolutions are to lose 2 stone, be more organised and make time for a hobby for myself.
