Braved soft play this morning, went well - though I copped out a bit, cleaned DS2's shoes and let him go with them on No-one said anything, as I think his trousers were a little long so maybe it wasn't obvious.

Best plan is to go back again tomorrow (if i cba) so he gets more used to it..

Had a lovely sleep - 2 hours! T went down easily still at normal bedtime but DS1 bounced around for a while so I think he is pretty much better.
I feel a bit better, just having a hot toddy now and then off to bed.

I have done a bit more wrapping, am getting there! I can't remember whether I posted that I had bought the cheese - mmmmm so scrummy. I went on my own, and spent ages tasting bits and pieces and deciding what to get. Yum, yum. It is in the fridge in the garage now ready to take to my parents, we have put it out there so as not to be tempted

Well I have Good News. My Turkey is apparently en route to DH's office... still absolutely no idea what size (though the guy did say to DH that although we requested smallest possible, they have come up "larger than expected....."!) Lots of left overs then.

I did the xmas cake last night and it looks gorgeous BUT I think I am allergic to the marzipan (bright yellow). I ate some last night and my lip swelled up! Annoying as I was looking forward to eating the cake after I made it and everything.

Just marking my place. No list today as I'm not well, did manage to go to supermarket and get food until friday and wrapping paper for DD1's presents.

Hmm - will check out the KM thread. I'm sure I have things to report... god knows if my dresses went back ok. Hopefully they will have paid me back???

Xmas cake was from the delia /waitrose kit so was v easy. Just shoved all stuff in a bowl really.

Smart casual 'do's are a sartorial nightmare. I wore a wrap dress to our office meal out. Nice jeans, nice top and heels is always an option..?

JKS - I have an iPhone4, have had it just over a year and although i am something of a technophobe normally, I absolutely luuuuuuuuurve it. One thing I would say, is that the battery life on the 4 is pretty sh*te, so if it is considerably better on the 4S that would be a major bonus. I am unsure what my phone won't do that a 4S can do, because my phone does practically bloody everything except feed the children! Is the price difference big?

Supposedly the battery life is longer.
And some other techie stuff like download speeds but not sure they will make any difference to my life.
Given I'm coming from the 3 surely everything will be better on the 4 regardless, maybe even better on the 4S but who knows.
Easily confused....

JKS - DH was looking into this and he says that the iphone 4S is super duper techtastic but really expensive. It has an 8 mega pixel camera/ HD video camera (would you use that?). Depends if you want something really fancy. Isn't that the one where you ask it to tell you if you need a brolly or summat and it talks to you.
