I'm having a wobble, I'm not sure the colour of the walls is working with the floor tiles in the family bathroom - thoughts?

And if it doesn't work any suggestions?

Yes, I think it goes well.

Bluntness100 · 08/08/2017 20:09

It's a lovely colour but I'm not sure it does to be honest. Could you change the tiles? If not I'd go for something more cream coloured.

messofajess · 08/08/2017 20:10

I think it's a perfect match

ScarletSienna · 08/08/2017 20:10

Yes I think so. Great to have some colour with them as although the pattern is busy, the colour is quite muted. Looks lovely!

givemestrengthorgin · 08/08/2017 20:11

I think it looks fab!

Kaz2200 · 08/08/2017 20:11

Looks nice but if your not sure try dulux overtly olive it's a fabulous colour

SindyFishtail · 08/08/2017 20:12

Really lovely!!

SindyFishtail · 08/08/2017 20:12

I now have bathroom envy...

PonderLand · 08/08/2017 20:12

I like it

Bluntness100 · 08/08/2017 20:13

Blimey, just me, sorry op!

LittleMissMankyPants · 08/08/2017 20:15

Looks good to me. The upper wall colour is a perfect match with the tiles and the warm blue breaks up the beige.

applespearsbears · 08/08/2017 20:16

Love all three (walls, wood and tiles) but I think the tiles go well with the wall colour more than the wood tbh.

MamaHanji · 08/08/2017 20:16

I can't decide if I think it is lovely or hideous...

Gatekeeper · 08/08/2017 20:17

Oh my...that looks wonderful. Elegant and classy. I am suffused with envy

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 08/08/2017 20:18

No, you need a warmer grey, your tiles are brown and the walls are a cold bluish grey.

LittleMissMankyPants · 08/08/2017 20:19

Cold blue?! No way.

Heroicallylost · 08/08/2017 20:20

It's ok. Personally I'd go for pale grey or a muted green though, blue just feels a bit dated to me.

I think the colour match is ok, but I don't think the style of the tiles particularly goes with the panelling.

StorminaBcup · 08/08/2017 20:21

I can see what you mean, OP. Initially it looks great (and I love the floor tiles / panel look), but the blue tone isn't quite right the longer you look at it (although it isn't bad either). Might just be the picture quality on my phone though.

Heroicallylost · 08/08/2017 20:22

(Your tiles look grey to me btw, if they're actually brown I'd go for green instead!)

Abra1d · 08/08/2017 20:22

It looks lovely!

BarelyCopingToday · 08/08/2017 20:24

I'd go for a nice olive / sage green

AlwaysUnsure · 08/08/2017 20:25

Oh I love it. Great choice don't change it.

IndianaMoleWoman · 08/08/2017 20:25

On my phone it looks like the tiles have warm tones and the paint has cool tones, making them clash a bit. But it might just be my phone.

GatoradesDream · 08/08/2017 20:30

These responses summarise my dilemma completely. I'll post some more pictures of the floor (which can't change...its new!). I'd say the floor is more grey than brown but a warm grey.
