I'd prefer not to have to deal with sick children when on holiday all the same.

It takes very little time to load a dishwasher with the flatware and cutlery in a holiday rental and let it rip.

It takes even less time to deal with dishes, etc., on holiday if you bring your own paper plates and cups, water bottles, insulated mugs, and whatnot to use.

Wow, thanks for that planet saving tip.

Eh? You bring paper plates and cups to a holiday let? Now I’ve heard it all. Barking mad. Why don’t you just stay at home.

By "get into a holiday property" I interpret that to me renting someone else's home.

First thing would be to check the cabinets and bookshelves.

Hang clothes up, get changed and then go and look around outside to find somewhere to eat and drink. I couldn’t be cleaning everything when I’m on holiday, I’d rather stay at home.
