Where is the most beautiful place you've been to?

The miserable weather is making me think of holidays! Where is the most beautiful place you've been to on holiday? Mine is a draw between Hoi An in Vietnam and the Alps in the summer. Oh to be back at either places...!

Wooller , North Northumberland.

Guatemala, Lake Atitlan. Surrounded by volcanoes, utterly gorgeous. Pretty dangerous these days, which is why we haven't been back.

I think this is an impossible question.

So many lovely suggestions. I've lived in three other continents but I still think nothing beats the U.k countryside and coast for beauty. It might not be as spectacular as other places but it's so pretty.

I was in Canada when there was a huge ice storm. There was a thick layer of ice over everything, that's not great for power cables and roads but made for a beautiful, eerie and shimmery landscape.

I spent a month in Rarotonga in the 90s. Loved it there.

Also love Moorea in French Polynesia.

Uganda, just after the rainy season. Absolutely stunning.

Wales (more specifically, Merioneth).

Onelli Bay, Lake Argentino, Argentina. This was reached by a walk from a boat. A few glaciers coming into the bay. Air so pure your lungs appreciated every breath.
I also love the Scottish highlands

Iceland gets another vote from me.

British and US virgin Islands. I was also too young and stupid to appreciate it

I quite like the view from Olifants Rest Camp in the Kruger.

Switzerland.... walking in the mountains in grindelwald, waterfalls in lauterbrunnen... the lakes. amazing.

I love tropical islands but my favourite coastline is Cornwall.
