Where is the most beautiful place you've been to?

The miserable weather is making me think of holidays! Where is the most beautiful place you've been to on holiday? Mine is a draw between Hoi An in Vietnam and the Alps in the summer. Oh to be back at either places...!

Venice is spectacular.

And if you go to the Lido, you have a spectacular Italian city, and a lovely beach resort, a 5 minutes boat ride apart.

Maui with Iceland a close second.

Agreeing with other posters that the Ards Peninsula in Northern Ireland is breathtaking.

I think parts of Yorkshire, the Peak District & Scottish Highlands can rival anything the rest of the world has to offer.

I think in the UK we lose our hearts to landscapes that are different to our own, so Iceland, Vietnam, Italy...all undeniably magnificent but I don't think any more beautiful than we have.

In the UK, then various remote parts of the Lakes and the Highlands. Also Uig Sands.

Abroad, then the Canadian Rockies was stunning. I think it was Lake Minnewanka which was particularly beautiful. Also Bavaria. Loved Iceland, amazing landscape, just not sure I’d call it beautiful. Beautiful in a non-traditional way I guess.

Oh Scrabo is as creepy as all get out. Sitting there all black granit looking down on the Ards pininsula. Awful creepy place.

White Cross Bay near Windermere in the lake district. Stood at the waters edge at night, looking out across the water and the hills is one of the most beautiful and peaceful places I've ever been to.
