Where is the most beautiful place you've been to?

The miserable weather is making me think of holidays! Where is the most beautiful place you've been to on holiday? Mine is a draw between Hoi An in Vietnam and the Alps in the summer. Oh to be back at either places...!

Norway

We went to Strangford Loch a few years ago and spent a week right on the waters edge, it was one of the most beautiful little places we’d ever been to. Utterly charming and so picturesque. The dc loved the Portaferry ferry and we saw so many huge jellyfish.
we then discovered Tollymore National Park and it was so pretty I look at the photos I took all the time. Such a gorgeous corner of the world and I’m so grateful that one of our dc didn’t have a passport as otherwise we’d never in a million years have gone to NI on holiday, we always fly for sun!
We were totally spoilt with glorious weather while we were there too.

Not telling! It was beautiful and peaceful, idyllic.

Tolla in Corsica. Beautiful.

Venice. Took at least two days after getting home for me to readjust to 'normal' life.

Castaway Cay - Serenity Bay (Bahamas)

Perfection.

Most of the Cotswold villages are otherworldly beautiful, especially in the early morning sun, or snow.
Austrian Alps.

Ooh, we are going to Malcesine this summer.

In the UK Tresco gardens

Europe maybe Azores with all the beautiful flowers, waterfalls and hot springs, or Geirangerfjord in Norway.

Globally Costa Rica or Mauritius

City = Venice. Went during covid so really quiet, and didn't smell!
Country = Ethiopia. Went expecting it to be dry and barren like the Live Aid video, turns out it's the greenest, lushest and most spectacular landscape - literally how I imagine Eden. Vile toilets though!

Patagonia, stunning scenery.

Marlborough Sounds, South Island, New Zealand - stunning.

Has to be the Cyclades. The white and blue houses, the green and brown tones of the earth and the rich blue of the sea - nothing beats it.

I went on a day trip to Santorini from Crete years ago where we were herded about on coaches with about a million other day trippers and was still spellbound by the feeling that I’d stepped inside a ‘Greek Islands’ calendar. If I can love a place despite horrendous crowds, I know it’s somewhere special! Similar feelings for Iguazu Falls.

Ilha grande in Brazil was possibly the most stunning beach/island I have ever been to.

Railay near Krabi in Thailand was just wow.

Plaza Mayor in Salamanca, Spain is a really beautiful place.

Meteora in Greece is unbelievable to see.
