Do you have a drink at the airport if flying early morning or not?
I know lots of people have a pint with their breakfast at spoons.

Not routinely, definitely not, and never beer or spirits but if I was going on a "girls/lads weekend away" I wouldn't rule out splitting a bottle of fizz with airport breakfast.

Shunkleisshiny · 22/01/2023 14:43

No, I wait for my glass of fizz when I am on the plane then my holiday starts😀 We usually get a mid morning flight.

Always

Gymtok · 22/01/2023 14:44

No. I don't drink alcohol while travelling. It doesn't really enter my head to.

FT123456 · 22/01/2023 14:45

I would do, I rarely go on holiday so why not start it as soon at your at the airport lol.

Businessflake · 22/01/2023 14:45

Yes. Unless travelling for work. Usually just a quick glass of bubbles in the lounge.

RiderOfTheBlue · 22/01/2023 14:47

No. I just can't fathom why anyone would want to drink alcohol with their breakfast, whatever the circumstances.

JammiDodgers · 22/01/2023 14:47

Always here too

Greensleevevssnotnose · 22/01/2023 14:47

If not collecting a hire car or working then yes

JorisBonson · 22/01/2023 14:50

Yep! Great way to start a holiday.

MrsTerryPratchett · 22/01/2023 14:50

If it works with the timezones I might at lunch which I never do normally.

Not the typical MN pursed-lipped disapproval but just because it makes me feel crap. Breakfast never. Maybe brunch at Christmas but I would regret it!

Luredbyapomegranate · 22/01/2023 14:51

No, and I do find it really really weird.

It would just make you feel shitty, unless you kept at it, in which case you’d be shitfaced on the plane.

TeeBee · 22/01/2023 14:51

Always have a glass of champagne in the BA lounge if heading on holiday (perhaps also when travelling for work).

HippeePrincess · 22/01/2023 14:52

I couldn’t drink a pint but I wouldn’t anyway regardless of time of day, I’d have a breakfast cocktail or a champagne/Prosecco though if dp and I were on our way somewhere just us.
wouldn’t be too relaxing with the kids at breakfast though.

FlounderingFruitcake · 22/01/2023 14:53

With friends or as a couple then yes to a glass of champagne or a mimosa. If I have to deal with my kids all day then no!

yentirb · 22/01/2023 14:58

Two at the airport, nothing on the plane Smile

cleanitup · 22/01/2023 15:00

I don't drink at all now but years ago, pre children, I would do this. Once I had children, no.

SilverSpring · 22/01/2023 15:01

Nooooo

DeltaAlphaDelta79 · 22/01/2023 15:02

Its all part of the holiday, plus I need the dutch courage to get on the plane in the first place!

purplecorkheart · 22/01/2023 15:03

Not in the airport. Tend to have a processo on the plane if it is lunchtime or after if going on holiday.

SarahAndQuack · 22/01/2023 15:05

No - I don't like airplane toilets so don't want to have to wee! Plus wouldn't the altitude plus booze give you a headache?

cariadlet · 22/01/2023 15:08

No.
Drinking at breakfast seems weird. I couldn't face alcohol at that time of day.

Peridot1 · 22/01/2023 15:09

No not in the morning. Couldn’t face it tbh.
