@Pumpkintopf I hadn’t read that. I’m still feeling knackered from barely getting any sleep the night before results day! Really hope she gets one of her choices, if not something close. I’m not keen on her having to get the tube in every day.

Keen to see accommodation sorted as I suspect it could be a bit ugly - fingers crossed all goes smoothly. @Pumpkintopf - last year there was a fair bit of buying space in from the private sector but I can’t imagine how they could set that up at this late date. I guess we will all see soon.

Anyone else feeling mentally exhausted. I came to bed at 9pm!

My DS course was not on the list for adjustment at Cambridge.Initially I was disappointed as I waited all evening for page to load up list for courses but now pleased as I would have been too wired up to deal with another rollercoaster ride.
He didnt even look at the list (I didn’t mention that I was secretly checking) as he really wanted to go to LSE.

Has your dc sorted out accommodation? Seems that as soon as DC accepted LSE offer she straightaway applied for accommodation and got what she wanted..

So lovely to see all these UCL places! Be interesting to see where they end up living, although the halls are probably different from when I was there 1992-1995.

Yes DS was asked for deposit today to confirm his accomodation.
When do DC start term/freshers?Hes been out last two nights with friends socializing so haven’t been able to catch him to quiz him more.

Hm, I think she paid ages ago. No idea when they are starting, it's still ages....
At least that was the answer to whether she wanted to do some shopping for her room

She is in one of the IC halls so suspect they have different rules

@Majaso12 I know what you mean!! Gcse results for DD tomorrow- this has been an exhausting week and it's not over yet.

Phew, and the GCSE's results are out of the way now too! Congratulations to all those who have managed a double whammy this week! DD2 had her results in June too with the exception of Performing arts which was a Btec so she was nervous for that but she did so well and her History grade went up too which was a bonus!! We weren't expecting them to change at all! She's come away with 9 A*'s, 4 A's and a B cause they make them do loads at her school!
Fab to see lots of familiar names now!
