Yank so sorry for your friend, how sad to lose both parents so close together. Also bloody annoying about your car being a non driver I have no advice to give sorry.

Bof sorry you are still illing, stick your feet up and relax (if only I hear you cry)

Shiney I am back into the warm and homely fold of the cult once more, today is day3 of my diet. Sounds like you had a fab weekend, a cure for the tiredness would be to try going to bed to sleep instead of exercise.

Lizzylou · 03/05/2010 19:17

Filthy Kitchen Slut sounds ideal for a Saturday night when the telly is crap.

Must remind me next week

bellavita · 03/05/2010 19:19

Jaq - it is fabulous to have you back

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 03/05/2010 19:21

Hello

I will try to post a bit more often, but I need to stay more present for the children! It is working, you know. I've never been more well than I have the last two or three months

Yesterdays diet was pants...

Brekkie - Go ahead yog bar + yogurt + sultanas

Lunch - roast chicken, piles of veggies, mash potato and gravy.

Mid afternoon snack - about 6 squares of cooking chocolate!

Tea -- Very, very late (about 10pm) 3 slices of toast with flora light.

No great but still no sugar in and tea I've been drinking and no fizzy drinks at all!!

Oh and can I just point out to you all that I am going to try and post a food diary on here every day. Feel free to pick it apart and suggest things etc.

I am also entering my last few weeks of Uni and life is mad so I apologiose now if I am a bit here one min gone the next.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 03/05/2010 19:28

Shiney - I have noticed your new 'status' and have been very about it for you!

Yank - sorry to hear about your friend . How did you get on with the home-made eye wash thingies I mentioned on FB?

Oh, and PITA if you're here , I did decide to join...I did it this morning! I'm a bit shocked that I've done it actually!

TotalChaos · 03/05/2010 19:32

jac - that food diary doesn't look too bad at all really, just a wee bit less choc would have been better. obv toast is a bit erm basic for dinner, but you've had plenty of veg for lunch. what do you do for mash? do you put any fat in it?

bellavita · 03/05/2010 19:35

Jaq, that was actually "less pants" than you made out

MrCock is upstairs wailing on his electric guitar, playing Sunshine of Your Love. Phwoar.

YanknCock · 03/05/2010 20:03

Wobble, I'm rubbish at hand expressing, so was waiting till I pumped again to do it (I got a little out and wiped this morning though). Would the expressed stuff I have in the fridge work, or is it best straight from the boob for this type of thing?

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 03/05/2010 20:10

The expressed stuff would be fine, but you really only need a couple of squirts to wet the cotton wool ball. Do it whenever the eye is gunky, to clean it. None of mine have ever needed antibiotic eye-drops or ointment for conjunctivitis.

MrsWobbleTheWaitress · 03/05/2010 20:11

Dunno what I'm going to do if they get it after I stop breastfeeding! Might have to express some and freeze it - that'll do for 6m after stopping but then I'll be in trouble...will have to make sure I'm always friends with a lactating woman

MyCatIsABastard · 03/05/2010 20:28

Evening ladies. I have drunk wine and pimms and eaten salmon and salad and one burger inabun, have overdosed on melon/strawberry/raspberry, just eaten a massive bowl of salad fruit salad and am feeling good.

Yank (and MrsWobble) - v sorry about your friend . Re your DS eyes, my DS gets conjunctivitus a bit and cold tea really helps soothe it, I make a mug of tea (no milk, obviously) then pop it in the fridge to get cold. Then dab it on his eyes with cotton wool (using a fresh pad each time and for each eye). Seems to take out the swelling and itching for a time. A bit of an oldwives remedy but it does help.

Jaq, that food diary wasn't too bad at all really. Just make sure you don't starve yourself now or anything so that you fall off the wagon and eat loads.

bellavita · 03/05/2010 20:32

Mmmm MyCat - pimms and salmon and wine and fruit salad etc etc sounds bloody lovely

I did have to make it all myself, but I did very much enjoy it. I even put the apples, cucumber and strawberries in the pimms (not the mint though, didn't have any). Was very lovely. I think I might have to go for another pimms in a mo, just to finish off the day.

SAF, thats not so good. Was he being an arse or did you just suddenly have a crisis of confidence?
