Hellooooo!

I am finally back from the hell on toast that is a bank holiday supermarket.

Am going to watch Glee in a bit.

Yank - sorry about your friend

Also - cold cammomile tea is very good for gunky eyes.

Saf - if you wanted a lift to DFS, I think there is one at Riverside, I'm sure I could sort something out.

Shiney - Hope you had a nice weekend in My neck of the woods

Did you all have a nice Bank Holiday?

MyCatIsABastard · 03/05/2010 20:54

SAF, at least you went so don't worry about it. Nothing wrong with not wanting to hang around.

MyCatIsABastard · 03/05/2010 20:59

Off to watch Pacific now.

Have a good evening everyone and speak to you tomorrow.

wastingaway · 03/05/2010 21:03

Hello.

DS been in bed 50 mins and he's still awake.
Of course he'll have a bad night now I've moved the seat out of his room for feeding him on.

Yank, so sorry for your friend and you. I think you must have been inadvertently rude to a chimney sweep to have this bad luck.

SAF, just getting out there for a bit is good, pushing your boundaries.

Lovely to see you back Jaq and MrsWobble.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 03/05/2010 21:10

Yank... I am so so sorry about your friends Dad. Sometimes there is something deeply unfair about life.

I have just been for a long 2 or so hr walk..Norma giving me the Penguin stare just weirded me out

DC's Dad is very supportive in some respects and came down so I could get a couple of hours. DD is still quite poorly and I was getting stir crazy, reading old threads was a really bad idea as well. But I went to my spiritual haven and found some peace.

Hi Jaq.. I hope things are OK in your world..how is that lovely family of yours?

Saf... no worries, good for you for recognising your own limits.

Lizzylou · 03/05/2010 21:10

That all sounds lovely and delish Mycat

SAF, you know, go with your gut. Perhaps you are simply not ready to date yet, after the Brazilian and all? I don't know...what do you think?

Off to bed now, what ever happened to the Bank Holiday Mondays of yesteryear where we used to be outside the pub all day/night???

Decorating and cooking, Pshaw!

Glad you survived work, Bitter

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 03/05/2010 21:17

Saf, sorry just read yor post about you meeting the internet guy.

I am a huge believer in trusting your gut instinct -I don't mean he was an axe murderer or anything

I just mean the situation clearly didn't feel right.

There is someone out there that deserves you.

Stop looking and he may turn up

Saf - just think of it as a nice opportunity to Miss DS and realise how much you love him - If you are anything like me those opportunities are few and far between.

You are not putting me out - no pressure but the offer is there.

SAF at least you had the curtesy to make an excuse and leave, i have had that exact same sudden feeling of 'got to get out of here now' when i have been out with a blind date, and actually sneaked out the back door without telling him

Saf, You have impeccable manners

And you need to invest in either,

A hot water bottle, or (my personal recommendation)

A dog

Both result in a nice warm bed, but only one of them is always really pleased to see you

YanknCock · 03/05/2010 22:50

Second Bitter's recommendation for a dog--I used to have a lovely beagle cross that slept under the covers down by my feet and keep them warm all night.

DS went to bed with no crying or fighting. Really think 8:30 is more his natural bedtime. Will try the milk I've expressed on his eye when he wakes up--but hoping for him to sleep through again! I will have a busy day trying to sort him and the car out. Need to print off the bus schedule and head to bed now.

Night all!

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 03/05/2010 22:53

Night Yank - save your ebm and use cammomile tea.

I don't really like little dogs but make an exception for beagles.

Work was as I expected saf.

I did locate the anchovy paste fo you though, it is on the back wall, opposite aisle 26.

(I told you they had moved it!)

I am very tired now, but don't want to go to bed yet.

DreamsInBinary · 03/05/2010 23:24

Hello

It took until about 9pm to realise that it's Monday and so I have got to Margate (at least a million miles away) straight after work tomorrow.

Of course, nothing is clean let alone ironed...

VinegarTits · 03/05/2010 23:29

omg what is wrong with my effing neighbour? i just climbed into bed and all i can hear is this weird voice thats sound like a rag and bone man

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 03/05/2010 23:31

Hello Vinny and DIB.

I feel I need to sleep.

DreamsInBinary · 03/05/2010 23:36
