He really couldn't do anything else, perhaps if Libs get some positions in a new government and we get electoral reform it could pave the way for the lib dems in the future?

Sorry, this is a healthy eating thread!

Umm, 2 slices wholemeal toast for breakfast, not sure for lunch and dinner is salad.
Will be glossing the utility and kitchen tonight, but may be able to pop out for a run.

CrispyTheCrisp · 07/05/2010 11:04

Morning, have lost 3.75lb this week with my return to healthy eating. Sadly no gym visits, only 3 walks and a swim so i fear i am in reversal of muscle weighs more than fat

Crispy, you've done so well!! You are entitled to a break in gym etc, life gets in the way sometimes.

Double, 5lbs is fab, hope you get yourself sorted with the GP.

Wasting, we do need electora reform, I am just very shallow and think Nick is a bit dishy (for a Politician, slim pickings there though!)

I am going to do the 5km run part of DH's triathlon, if he does it, I think I need a goal.
They will be bonkers if they think I will be in any way speedy, no matter how fit I have been in the past, speed is not my thang

Thanks for the pom poms and congrats everyone. It does inspire me to keep going .

Sazz, don't be daft woman, you look bloody fantastic, that 1/4lb is nothing!

SAF, people have said to me how very different I look too. Most have said it's good to have the old me back (I was slim ish til my 30's, then spent that decade eating like a horse and drinking like a fish!). I catch sight of myself now and feel normal. I used to pretend to myself that I was slim then catch a reflection and not actually recognise the big bird looking back at me.

All quite interesting on the hung parliament stuff now. Nick Clegg is almost intimating that he might consider a coalition with the Tories which seems odd as their policies are poles apart.

It does affect you when you are heavier than you should be, doesn't it?
My whole personality changes when I feel good about myself.

Mycat, you are an inspiration, as are Sazz and Jet, everyone on here is tbh, but to lose so much weight takes such willpower and strength of character

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/05/2010 11:28

Wow, everyone is shrinking! Lots of big losses

Lizzy - 5km I can barely run for a bus!

Saf - good luck with the doctors - No way would I let my child be a guinea pig.

I am none the wiser to where you are and don't know what e.d. is!

We will have a coffee and all will become clear

One day next week?

MyCatIsABastard · 07/05/2010 11:31

Thanks Lizzy. You say it took will power, but in a way it didn't as I seemed to have my head in the right place to do it, IYKWIM. It was having the second DC that really did it, I just could not be the fat mum who didn't do anything with her kids because she was too tired and embarrassed to run around.

This is a good thread to be on, I have to say, I find it so supportive when your doing well, and when your not

Fluffyvacuity · 07/05/2010 11:32

Running in to say I've started an mn fund 'Fund Fluffy's Dream Home' donate a tenner each and I'll get there soon

We drove past this house, right opposite my dds school and thought 'excellent we can afford that, its mid terrace will be about £160 - £185k ish), but unfortunately it wasn't:

fluff needs this

Anyway, DP reckons our scales are out by a stone which makes me 14 stone not 13. Great.

Have both dcs here, dd1 still pretending to be ill, dd2 still screaming.

Promise will catch up when around later, I want hand holding for the extensions tomorrow.

Oh and off to Debenhams later to buy Shiney inspired make up

Hope you're all ok. And don't forget the fluffy fund arf

DF, that house is gorgeous

You will have to show us what you buy.

I was never really bothered about make-up. Not sure why but I am slowly getting quite excited by it

This thread should come with a warning - may affect your bank balance

Fluffyvacuity · 07/05/2010 11:42

DI - I'm watching Trisha! Beat that for low brow!! While trying to ignore dd1 and dd2, its a skill I tell you

SAF - I have (whisper) 2 children to 2 different fathers and, wait for it, I'm not married to the 2nd one (nor to the first anymore!). They might save me as my child is at private school. On the other hand I hate fox hunting so they may not.

DD1 says 'barth' and 'parth' etc so she'll be ok. DD2 does not. DP says 'eh oop' type stuff. Oh well he's a gonna, I'll get over it!

Hi sazz

at the house fund!

Fluffyvacuity · 07/05/2010 12:15

I was kind of hanging out for the £50k to leave. I'm English and so are all my family but I thought I could try to pretend otherwise for the £50k, there's not much I wouldn't do for £50k to be honest

I also say breakfast, dinner and tea. My dd keeps correcting me to breakfast lunch and dinner. As neither of us has mentioned 'supper' I think we're for the chop

straight up - how do they keep a straight face charging that???????

DI- Come back to the fooollllllllllllllldddddddddd

Lizzylou · 07/05/2010 12:52

Fluffy that is a gorgeous house, just my style, hate this modern boxy house, though love the location.

We could have a cult co-operative house, we could all move in and hide from our DC and eat cake rice cakes.

Double at you remembering that you're not a British Citizen. My Mom has dual nationality and an Irish passport and keeps on at me to do the same (I can, even though only my Grandfather was Irish), I may do it now
