My nct mates and i say that - co-op house, all the women in one, the men and children in a different one!!

My house is that style but much smaller and much messier, you can see the victorian fireplace on the video of dd1 dancing with the nappy on head!!

Problem is the location, road's ok but got huge estate behind which is meant to be rough, has an 'outlaw' house there complete with whole house painted in union jack etc. And the school is horrendous hence dd1 going private (and i know we are very lucky to be able to do that).

baby started crying.........................................

She'll go far that one.

Fluffyvacuity · 07/05/2010 13:48

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/05/2010 13:59

DD is still in her jammies too, DF.

I have done a silly thing and had a prawn salad sandwich for lunch.

I forgot that for dinner, I am having ... Prawn Salad.

Lizzylou · 07/05/2010 14:14

Bitter, you can have my Fish Breath crown

Bloody bin men's insurance saying that their vehicle was damaged, it so bloody wasn't, thieving gits.

All on insurance though, so hey ho.

DidEinsteinsMum · 07/05/2010 14:16

throws multicoloured glitter at the thread to achnowledge the election result.

hi, bye, busy day.

keep smiling all and hope all ok.

bellavita · 07/05/2010 15:13

Afternoon

Vinny, that is so out of order the tale telling and gossiping at work over the internet usage

Fluffy, that is a lovely house and it looks beautiful inside.

I had chopped up tropical fruit for breakfast (took it to work). I treat the boys to cream slices from M&S yesterday and the tropical fruit was my treat! Jacket potato and tuna for lunch and I have got a ww quiche with salad for tea.

How are we all?

Liking the sound of the cult house that we can hide from DC's in. Does that mean I have to bring DH though? Would rather not.

So far today I have had

Toast - 4pts
Roast Beef (v small bit) - bloody 5pts
Roast spuds - 4pts
Veg - 0pts
Medicinal Pimms - 3pts
Crisps - 1/2pt

So 17 1/2pts out of my 22. Bugger!

Big plate of veg tonight then. Or I go for a really long walk later to make up some points (then I can have a large glass of red.. hmmm, liking this idea )

Hope your alll OK. Must go have DD's friend round for tea in a few mins, need to make sandwhiches etc so that the little darlings can say 'don't like that' to everything I put in front of them.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/05/2010 15:40

So, DS is in trouble at school for biting another child

I'm quite worried about him, that is so out of character.

He's no angel (as you probably can tell from my moaning about his exploits) but I'd never had said he was a spiteful child.

Even his teacher said it was out of character.

How do I handle it?

All advice gratefully received.

wastingaway · 07/05/2010 15:42

Afternoon all.

Co-operative sounds really good right now. Would be so nice to have someone take DS for an hour.

Been for a walk to the Range for ant powder + peppa pig ball and chocolate buttons of course. And he was mostly good, holding my hand, had to grab and remind him now and then.
We had a really good time at the park, he was interacting with a little girl we vaguely now, so all good, but then I had to force him out of the park and rather than following me towards the gate and home he took off across the football field, I followed him, but he wanted to go into the skatepark which obviously isn't safe and I ended up carrying him kicking and screaming home.

It's not been an all bad day been brave and reconnected with the some old 'life' that will be v. good I think, but I feel completely drained now.

Bella, another loss for you too, well done!

Lizzy, I'd be doing my nut at that, bloody bin men!

to DEM as she whizzes past...

...and breathe...

So, did ya miss me?

TrillianAstra · 07/05/2010 15:59

I need a Yank-style roundup!

Lizzylou · 07/05/2010 16:05

Hey Trills, have you had fun?

I am all giddy, beatch Tory Neighbour didn't get in as Councillor, ha ha ha, Labour got in.

DH is back from jury service and is quite traumatised by it, sounded an awful case to be honest.

bellavita · 07/05/2010 16:20

Triiiiiiiiiills - hello

Are you jet lagged?

Yay for beatch neighbour being beaten Labour.

Anyone able to borrow my migraine for about 3 1/2hrs so that i can drop ds off and have my boy free weekend as planned? I need to sleep alot. Had to even ask the pharamacist about med interactions before i could even take anything. my head hurts, my eyes hurts, I have hayfever badly. but on a plus note i dont have echoy hearing or tinitus from hayfever in sinuses today. So that has to be a bonus. I think i shall end up sleep the entire weekend though, note quite what i have planned for theis weekend... sad] Have a lovely weekend all and see you on the new thread when i can see srtaight enough to type.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/05/2010 16:34

Oh and my DS is biting.

Hope I didn't leave anyone out.

TrillianAstra · 07/05/2010 16:37

STILL buying more makeup? We will al be bankrupted! (but very beautiful) I am enjoying my benefit you rebel tinted moisturiser by the way. Oh, and I bought a new handbag in NY.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 07/05/2010 16:39

Linky?

TrillianAstra · 07/05/2010 16:47

can't find a link for the bag, I htought it was Lola Rose (like Shiney's ring-out-of-a-cracker) but the writing is curly and could be Lela Rose (which also seems ot be a brand of clothing/accessories). Still, I bought it cos I like it, it's dark fuschia/purple and quite big, with brown leather handles.

Fluffyvacuity · 07/05/2010 16:53

Right just back, bought Bad gal(?) and You Rebel from Benefit, I knew more than the girl on the counter (vicariously through Shiney obv)

Came back to a phone call saying my DNephew (5) has been rushed to hospital with appendicitis and is currently in theatre. So am waiting with fingers crossed for news poor little chap.

Oh and a letter from CSA to say exh has to pay me £35 a week. Right. He's a solicitor but has somehow managed to get his earnings shown as £231 a week. I think because he works through an agency so has declared only the one employer (I told them who his employer was actually, as he didn't bother sending his forms back). So I've asked them what happens when he starts working a 'normal' job again eg his usual £45k+ job, and they said he should tell them, BUT, and this is hilarious, if he doesn't but I find out and tell them they DON'T backdate it. So he has no incentive to tell them when he gets a proper job again (apart from doing the right thing by your children obviously, but he wouldn't care about that).

Sorry am ranty mad. Think its a real injustice against the RP (whether female or male) Any advice? I'm still taking him to court over the £4.5k in arrears on the fees too but obviously I'll never get it.

Promise will catch up on all news, just too much RL at the moment.
