On No wasting, it is quite nice now..they give you a little gift bag, play soft music and have a range of rainbow coloured speculums, and afterwards you get a cuppa with a piece of cake and asticker saying 'I was brave at the Nurses toady'

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 09:22

Morning.

Was nearly late for the school run this morning - Oops! (I blame double )

DD is still asleep She is a sleepy girl.

Wasting - I had my last smear about a year ago, it wasn't pleasant but it wasn't too bad.

What's everyone up to today?

I had a coil pushed through my uterus after DD was born and two badly bodged smears after that, I had agreed to student nurses performing the procedure as in principal I support them doing practical work in their training but I am now struggling to go for my next one.

Saf - Hope the nursery works out

I'm off to Toccata's for coffee later, but If you are at a loose end one day we should meet up for a cuppa.

I know what you mean, the amount of times I've gone into town, taken about ten minutes to run errands and thought,

'Now what?, I don't have to pick up DS for 2 hours and I don't want to go home yet!'

Ah, it appears my sleeping beauty is ready for her breakfast. Back in a bit.

Don't be nervous, saf I don't bite!

Although I do have a tendency to talk very fast utter bollocks when I'm nervous - you have been warned

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 09:54

I had to go into hospital over it but with DD as I was BFing. I kept asking for an Xray as I had had so many unpleasant investigative examinations. When they finally agreed, it had migrated to a little bit below my heart and I had to sign giving my permission for them to perform open surgery if it was no longer possible to retrieve it through key hole surgery.

Should have had the bloody thing pickled and given it to the doctor who did it. She complained about how expensive they were for the NHS and was really unkind when she was fitting it.

Ah well....water under the bridge I suppose......

I would seriously like it to get warmer now.

NormaSknockers · 05/05/2010 09:55

Only 3.5 points per slice too as I've used uber light spread

Korma my Nana used to breed poms but when Kizzie (her last Pom) had to be put down she stopped, think it broke her heart too much to have another Pom in the house. I used to live with my Nana as a baby & I'd be sat in my pushchair & everytime a Pom ran past I'd pick one up & stick in my lap (apparently!)

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 10:06

Oh god Norma..I love you! Did you know that? I reeeeeeaaaalllyyyyy love you

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 11:43

Mitts just dropped phone down back of bed, nightmare to fish out. Would it be ok to rearrange. mum isnt able to drive for a few days and going to have to take her to do a weekly shop. Can we rearrange to next week?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 05/05/2010 11:56

Oh Defo DEM, this week has sort of slipped through my fingers with there being a bank holiday. Hope you are OK. Good to see you back online...and with added glitter .

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 12:01

Right must get busy got sooo much to do...

Lizzylou · 05/05/2010 12:57

DEM! Hello
How are you, lovely?

Well strange old day, but a fab result for my fave candidate who have been struggling to place, so all good.

Just had my usual wholemeal pitta, extra light laughing cow (x 3) and some baby spinach.

Will be going for a run later.

How is everyone?

DidEinsteinsMum · 05/05/2010 13:11

I am being silly and eating ice cream. comfort eating and back over 11 stone. What paper work do i keep and what do i get rid of?

wastingaway · 05/05/2010 13:26

Afternoon!

It weren't too bad, didn't hurt. She took a full history and did my blood pressure. Then weighed me. More than the Wii tells me anyway. My blood pressure was good though 118/75 which surprised her.

Blimey Mitts, that sounds rough! I had a coil go missing once, but they did x-ray my abdomen and decided it must have fallen out.

DS is being a little sod and my throat is really bad. Aarrgh!
I'm going to have a lemsip and decide how to proceed with the afternoon.

Lizzylou · 05/05/2010 13:27

Gosh DEM, I don't know.
Tax stuff/Wage slips/bills/bank stuff....ummmm???

Wasting, glad all OK, remember you were weighed with all clothes on, so don't worry.
Oh, and it is looking like rain, sorry!
