Please can someone help me. Im in so much pain and I dont know what to do.

I have had horrible pains all day..... they feel like periiod pains. As the day has progressed they have been getting worse and worse.

Nurofen isnt touching it. Im totally exhausted by it and just want to sleep. Im sat here crying because I dont know what to do. I took painkillers nearly an hour ago anf they just arent working and I just want to sleep.

Just do it. She can't stop you - use a mobile if you have to.

Aw gosh Charlotte's sister. You must be stressing out too. Can you call the hospital and speak to someone there? I bet they'll say bring her in and that might be just the push she needs.

If you give us the name of the hospital we'll find the number.

Or just call an ambulance (yes I know you're next door). It's not worth the risks.

what would she do if it were one of her children that was in pain and with symptoms that could be potentially fatal and the Drs sent her home saying just to keep an eye on them or something similar?

She'd be back there demanding to be taken seriously. She has to do this for THEM

Im going to say something to the doctor in question when we get to the hospital. I don't know what she thought she was doing when she spoke to Char on the phone.
Shes stupid like this all the time. She wont accept help for anything even if she is desperate.
Shes not happy, have just told her I have written on here. Hopefully it will make her move.

Have you called an ambulance? I know she is frightened but whatever is going on here - she needs some help. Please get it NOW!

I think she is moving. My mum is on her way over as she works just down the road. Im pretty sure she will move then.

Just read all this and wanted to add my voice to all the others on here! What a stupid Doctor! If they wanted to send you on your way Charlotte then they could have scanned you.

I really hope it does turn out to be nothing, that would be the best result, but you are NOT wasting anyone's time getting yourself checked out for a potentially life-threatening illness.

One more voice to say you've done the right thing. I'm horrified by the attitude of the doctors involved (and the lack of a scan, esp. given your symptoms).

I have more than one story of hospitals sending me and my children home with injuries they said weren't there.

We need to stop thinking of doctors as Gods. They get things wrong too.

This exactly what happened to me, when I had my second ectopic. They said thay couldn't scan me as it was Sunday!

Really hope all is ok - it is so horrible having to argue when you feels so vulnerable and unwell.

I was sent home with my ep and due to a mix-up with results, it took me remembering my HCG levels to get them to take me seriously.
