New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

Can I just sit and cuddle TWC? I feel that his presence back on our thread is somewhat comforting and a sign that all is well with the world of shiney... Kisses WC and gives him a little squeeze.

Shiney..I thought you might go for it with photo man..perhaps a little out of kilter communication wise but possibly on the same wavelength.....

weegie, LE, Purplebuns, Bitter, catsdont, claudia, hi all,

I am Mitts, I can't decide if I want to lose 1/2st as I will just lose my assets, but am endeavouring to eat healthier and tone up whilst I prevaricate.

Bella Are you OK lovey? Recovering I hope.

My week is still mad. I am looking forward to the Easter break this time.

Are we still drinking loads of water? (I am )

MitsubishiWarrioress · 25/03/2010 14:00

Jacket is lush shiney.... You will look great in that, do the boots have heels?

Goobs...they do that.... I have been the last waffling to myself from time to time.... but you get wise to them in the end..and a badge if you fill the last thread and get the last word..

I am not much better...just differently ill. I know have a raging sore throat that makes me wince when I swallow,

MitsubishiWarrioress · 25/03/2010 14:02

just touch the screen for a bit and I will have a go at guessing the flavour of the baby Alice..

Ohmmmmmm...

It's a boy!

mamazon · 25/03/2010 14:03

hello all.
just popped in breifly as im at my parents. mum is doing housework and dad is snoring.
so glad i cam eover

just wanted to say im still alive, things are getting a little better and i still want to be part of the quiche (so i can come in june )

diet is going dreafully. im just as fat as always and my motivation has gone slightly. meds i have been taken make me feel ill a lot so when i can keep food down it is usually the wrong sort.

but sod it. i'd rather be fat and ok than skinny and ill.
at least you'll all feel better about yourselves once you see the size of me at the meet

MitsubishiWarrioress · 25/03/2010 14:04

Oh, and whilst I waffle on to myself...

I had a kitkat,

but a banana, fat free yoghurt and low cal snacky things (84 cal) for lunch. And pineapple juice.

And I am drinking loads of herbal teas.

Goober · 25/03/2010 14:09

Had a chicken and branston pitta and a hunk of Soreen no butter.
Porridge as usual this morning.

Am now off to iron.
No exercise tonight, no more til Sunday.
It is raining.

traceybath · 25/03/2010 14:15

Shiney lovely jacket - which colour top did you get?

Now how are you going to accesorize?

Mamazon - hope things pick up for you soon. I've seen the photos on your profile - you are gorgeous.

Shiney - your outfit sounds perfect.

I bet he turns up and you don't fancy him in the slightest and you are well out of his league as we used to say

Shiney - love the jacket! You will look some much better in it than the too skinny model. Jackets like that need boobs.

I have decided i would like a boy i think. All the women in my life (DD, my horse and the cat) cause me no end of hassle But purely lazy, a girl would be good because i don't need to get stuff and i know what to do So, either way i'm onto a winner!!

I have eaten more than i would like today considering i haven't got much of an appetite.

1x sliver of swiss roll (at 7am as i was on the way to the horses)
1x pineapple juice
1x cup of tea and chocolate muffin (friend brought it round)
1/2 quiche and some lettuce and tomatoes with fat free dressing (i struggled )
2x glasses of water
1x coffee and a shortbread biscuit

FiveGoMadInDorset · 25/03/2010 14:31

Alice, I adore my DS, I also adore my DD but in a totally different way, DS is so much simper than her but he is a mummy's boy.

DreamsInBinary · 25/03/2010 14:34

Breakfast: Pineapple & low-fat yog (will never get tired of it - delicous)

Lunch: Burger with cheese & bacon [shame]

Not just a burger - oh no - burger PLUS cheese PLUS bacon

That's my points used up for the day

TrillianAstra · 25/03/2010 14:36

Breakfast: cupcake DP brought home from work
Lunch: veg chilli (no rice) and grapes
Also: lots of tea, a few 'millions' sweets.

thats it i have posted the initiation piccy on a thread....about how do i become a nurse

TheLadyEvenstar · 25/03/2010 14:38

also just had my lunch

WW pita bread with WW tuna mayo and sweetcorn filling and salad.

Now having a coffee with 2 sweeteners rather than my usual 2 sugars...HUGE achievement for me!

Alicetheinvisible · 25/03/2010 14:38

DIB - DH makes the best burgers in the world! He copied some recipe (basically) from Gordon Ramsey (lean mince, salt, pepper, ketchup, worcester sauce, american mustard, egg yolk all mushed up) then topped with stilton and BBQed

WynkenBlynkenandNod · 25/03/2010 14:40

Alice boys are fab, very straight forward. All you need to know is that whilst they are little, a cotton pad or something needs to be kept at hand whilst changing them or they wee on you (or them). Everything else is easy, well compared to my DD it is.

Love the jacket and am really pleased to see that Per Una have some stuff in bigger than an 18 now. Feel some shopping coming on but am going to wait a few weeks until I'm (hopefully)down to a 20.

Have had a really difficult morning with diet considering on day flipping 2. Have been really starving, period due next week which isn't helping I think and I've had a horrible headache. So at shops I did buy a bag of mini eggs. Have eaten 6 (2 WW points I hope) and DH has hidden the rest. Also have some veg so I can do some emergency veg soup. Chocolate has helped my headache start to go a bit thank goodness.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 25/03/2010 14:46

Lizzy My art is the direction that I would really like to go and thanks for the compliment, but the truth is it is enormously time consuming and the one thing I don't seem to have is time. Or not enough to put together a decent show. I am doing an Arts festival later in the year if I get accepted again, but the truth is there is just so much to do, it is suffering.

And my finances need solving now. The kids are OK but are missing out a little (DD has never been on holiday, she is 7). I have to accept I might need to compromise to be fairer to them. I will never stop painting but it might have to just tick over in the background. It makes me deeply sad, but reality is I am not finding places to show my work. I get lovely refusals, that it just doesn't fit the ethos of the gallery/shop, but a girl has to make a living.....

Alicetheinvisible · 25/03/2010 14:53

Mitts - kids really don't need holidays and the like, they have a great fun mum who would give them the world if she could. Counts for a damn sight more than holidays do

Nod - thanks, i have also heard that you need to make sure their willy is pointing downwards when you put their nappy on to avoid them getting a wet tummy

DreamsInBinary · 25/03/2010 15:02

Much praise to Claudia and TLE for passing the initiation

I'm sure TWC will be along shortly to officially annoint you...
