New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

Morning all!

I've lost about 10lbs since joining this thread - the rest of the baby weight and some more. Am maintaining at the moment but really need to start doing some exercise. May start running in the mornings before school run.

Shiney - are you near a New Look. I'd be tempted to go for a slim longline top and perhaps a little jacket on top. I've got this jacket in the nude colour and would wear over a simple longline top - perhaps similar colour to your jeans for ultimate slimming effect.

What about one of the new tops you bought recently? Oh and I always shove a load of fake tan on to feel slimmer and heels.

Its international day at DS1's school so am making curry for dinner as his class are doing India.

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 25/03/2010 11:23

Shiney i have a horrible vison of 'boner guy' sitting opposite you on your date with a hard on

Purplebuns · 25/03/2010 11:23

Thank you, Trillian I have set it up. I guess I need to buy some scales then! lol

I don't really do set excercise, but when I work (16 hours weekly) I am on my feet constantly, so does that count?

bellavita · 25/03/2010 11:35

MyCat - no not my birthday, but someone's at work!

wastingaway · 25/03/2010 11:38

Morning! Will catch up later, been mad busy cleaning and we're off to meet my Dad in town now.

Nutella on toast for breakfast.

I'm trying to get off of cereal with milk for breakfast every day, for dietary and philosophical reasons, so all other ideas are welcome.

I may or may not get back on today, if not I'll catch up tomorrow.

Have a lovely day everyone!

MyCatIsABastard · 25/03/2010 11:39

ah right bella. Good of you to help her celebrate then

purplebuns I started WW when DS was 6 wks old and BF him til he was a yr old. If your doing WW you get 10 extra points and I found I couldn't actually eat it all, which is saying something as I could eat for england when I was pregnant.

Vinny, you saying that about 'boner guy' has put me in mind of TWC. If he turns up in mustard coloured trousers and a smirky grin, RUN FOR THE HILLS SHINEY! Seriously though Shiney, I hope the date turns out OK for you.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 25/03/2010 11:39

Phew, you dunnarf chat you lot.

I've just been out to my evening class - Book Keeping AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH So dull. I'm totally more or an arts kind of chick, gawd knows why I'm doing blardy bookkeeping.

Anyhoo, home now after stopping off at the garage on the way back to buy some emergency Liquorice

I saw your initiation pic and am off now to lob it into an activ convo . . .

Back soon

Good luck with the date shiney. Low cut top always goes down well with a fella.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 25/03/2010 11:51

OhmygodOhmygodOhmygod I've DONE it!

Posted a porno pic of Lord Terry on an innocent bread making thread.

I feel so norty.

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 25/03/2010 11:52

Ok, have signed up to food focus. I am going to have some soup for lunch, then I may get on the exercise bike for half an hour if DD doesn't wake up.Hope the date goes well shiney.

traceybath · 25/03/2010 12:01

Vinny - you are funny! Made me spit my coffee out.

catsdontscreetch · 25/03/2010 12:10

Hello, I'm CatsDont (as you've already got a MyCat)
I'm trying to be healthier. And halfway through making wholemeal bread, so will keep disappearing.
I seriously need to lose a couple of stone, but am trying to do it through a healthy (balanced?)eating, rather than denying myself food groups. I can't resist temptation (of any kind)

Just off to knock my bread back...

Alicetheinvisible · 25/03/2010 12:38

So we just abandon threads before they are finished now do we? Trills? I am most disappointed in you all. ^most disappointed>

I think you Newbies have led these ladies astray

Anyhow, my mad pregnancy induced pig-out has now ended and i don't have much of an appetite at the moment.

My 20week scan is tomorrow (Yay! and also OMFG!) Care to place your bets as to what flavour the baby is?

DreamsInBinary · 25/03/2010 12:56

A chubby, scrumptious little boy, Alice

traceybath · 25/03/2010 12:56

I think its a boy Alice.

TrillianAstra · 25/03/2010 12:57

Er, strawberry flavoured?

OP posts:
FiveGoMadInDorset · 25/03/2010 13:37

Alice - boy

Welcome to all you new people. Claudia I am doing a bookeeping course aswell but through distance learning.

Wasting, interested to hear about your philosophical reasons for not eating as much ceral with milk.

Shiney, I wouldn't spend to much bu you could go looking gerogeous and curby with cleavage and then blow him out.

Right, I am back on track,

Today I have eaten
tinned tomatoes on homemade granary bread for 5 points
Apple - 0.5
pasta with tomatoes and asparagus - 3

Not sure on supper yet, depends if DH goes out or not.
