New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

jetcat · 26/03/2010 21:19

ooh that looks lovely Even the name is nice - i so need a holiday

you ok?

Fleecy · 26/03/2010 21:24

Laughed at 'convertible pie' - like it!

I have porridge. Used to fill me up 'til lunchtime but now I have a small handful of peanuts or a piece of toast with marmite if I get hungry.

BOF - assume DD made it on time?

FiveGoMadInDorset · 26/03/2010 21:26

I am fine, trying to come to terms with my John Lewis addiction but other than that doing well.

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/03/2010 22:03

Evening. see we have newbies. can't believe everyone has disappeared to bed already. so what is new on MN. Take my mind of the fact I will fail on monday and that I am now boyless.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 26/03/2010 22:05

Good MORNING everyone.

Alice congratulations, a boy, how scrummy.

Jet, am astonished at your weightloss, that is amazing - well done.

BOF, did dd make it?

Fivegomadindorset, that cottage is lovely. Am

Well done everyone else on weight loss. I just weighed in - stayed the same, but AF arrived yesterday so actually quite pleased as I usually go up a few lbs. Am hoping to lose more next week.

So far had my fibre drink (which after reading the label contains aspartame and sunset yellow food colouring - so fully expect to go all silly and hyper any moment), and 2 cups of tea. Will have museli later.

Busy day today, taking dd to ballet then to a party - what is it with 4 yr olds and their fabulous social lives??? Then off to the footy this afternoon (snore).

ClaudiaSchiffer · 26/03/2010 22:06

Fail what on Monday EinsteinsMum?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/03/2010 22:29

Anyone still about? I had burgers for tea and am now attempting to drink my own bodyweight in wine. Believe me, thats a lot of wine. Sod it, I'll start again Monday. (like I don't tell myself that every Friday).

sigh...

ClaudiaSchiffer · 26/03/2010 22:33

Hi Bitter, I'm around. You ok?

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/03/2010 22:34

Bitter, just be careful with the wine. it is not a good thing to drink shed loads at the weekends and would be classed as seriously health damaging binge drinking, and if you live for the drink at the weekend a functional alcoholic. Make yourself a limited and remember that there is as many calories in a pint of beer as in a full sunday dinner. and i don't think it is a good comparison for wine either.

ToccataAndFudge · 26/03/2010 22:35

you ok bitter?

BitterAndTwistedChoreDodger · 26/03/2010 22:49

Yeah, I'm ok going to watch a couple of episodes of Dexter then go to bed.

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/03/2010 22:58

My current life changing project. It is supposed to be something I am doing for my and ds' furture but ... well lets just say life is not so great at the mo. And i am poorly to top it off.

hellsbelles · 26/03/2010 23:18

DidEinsteinsMum · 26/03/2010 23:28

DreamsInBinary · 26/03/2010 23:36

Hello hello hello

I have severe life envy. I took dd (4) to a classmates house for a party. It was HUUUUUUUUUGE. Mahoosive house, tennis court, swimming pool, sweeping lawns etc etc. sigh

Pig ugly husband though, hahahahhahahahaa

Today i have eaten, a banana, a small filled roll (salad and salami) and museli. Meatballs for tea later.

Am now doing some tidying up - lucky lucky me.

NormaSknockers · 27/03/2010 06:27

Morning all

Just getting ready for my night away with DH, our first child free night since DD was born nearly 4 years ago Hoping all the sex will work off the extra calories of the champagne & meal out

Back home tomorrow, all the decorating is finished & DH is back to work Monday so I'll be able to MN to my hearts content & be back on the thread properly

dawntigga · 27/03/2010 06:43

agasarecool · 27/03/2010 06:47

Hey all can I join in??

Im preggers with no 5 (yes really i'm mad) and need support for when the weight REALLY REALLY REALLY needs to come off after this one.

I have a horrible XH, but a lovely DP. And at this moment in time a freezer that is making the most annoying buzzing noise ever in the history of creation.

DreamsInBinary · 27/03/2010 07:05
agasarecool · 27/03/2010 07:12

Dreams thank you. Can't sleep at all atm, but then DP has been away with work (back today tho thank goodness). Its not as bad as it sounds, honestly, the preg with no5 lol. oldest 2 are 20 and 19 (both at uni now) younger two are 12 and 8, all with XH but this is first with DP who has never had any children before. I think he must be -mad- very brave to have taken me on lol.

agasarecool · 27/03/2010 07:13

Bum. My keyboard is playing up that was supposed to be mad

MitsubishiWarrioress · 27/03/2010 07:33

Hellooooo!!

I did it! I did it! I got ALL my work done.
Yayyyy!!! Which means the weekend is mine.

DEM... for you. If things do go the way you predict will they be able to tell you what your options are? Take care, thinking of you x.

Hi agas....how's the pregnancy going?

How did things go for DD1 BoF? Will DD2 be affected much?

Follows Norma around for mug of tea...

I am madly hyper..
I am going out for breakfast to treat myself, but will balance it out later. I deserve it.

Morning to all, xx
