New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

Can I have a dry bowl of Crunchy Nut cornflakes?

And yes, what on earth helped Jet's toothache that wasn't meds?

I'm uspecting something that took her mind off it...

JuJusDad · 26/03/2010 20:05

JuJusDad · 26/03/2010 20:05

*suspecting. Ghaaa, rubbish typing.

BitOfFun · 26/03/2010 20:06

A good sniff of a crackpipe will do that, deffo.

hellsbelles · 26/03/2010 20:06

TotalChaos · 26/03/2010 20:09

JuJu - I have a double portion - but made up with water instead of milk to mitigate the calories. So I have 2 sachets of Oatso Simple instead of one.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 20:10

as a mid morning snack or to take your mind off toothache BoF?

jetcat · 26/03/2010 20:14

jujus - yes, snacking is a must. When i first started healthy eating, i started having mid morning and mid afternoon snacks, and actually felt like i was eating more than i should be - but it worked

Ok - whispers - well, after trying to sleep through the pain sucking on ice pops, hot tea, whiskey etc nothing was working at all. I was pregnant, so very limited in what meds i could take. So, errm, one night i couldnt sleep.

errrm, i diverted the blood flow That would be sex to normal people, but i was single so had to go it alone

I actually cant believe i just typed that

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 20:14

Wordsonascreen · 26/03/2010 20:29

I've never met a man who would eat cottage cheese. Shiney - I've never found that porridge increases appetite - and it also has benefits re:cholesterol.

/tries to use telekinesis to move cup of tea from her kitchen to Mitts

JuJusDad · 26/03/2010 20:35

At the risk of setting off a false positive on everyone's gaydar (yet again), I'm not averse to cottage cheese. Or quiche.

Just haven't had any for literally years.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 20:36

there appears to be cups of tea flying everwhere!!

jetcat · 26/03/2010 20:37

i have scored a treadmill Ex's sister is selling hers (a fancy electric one) and has even managed to persuade ex into dropping it off on sunday for me - with her waiting a week to cash my cheque I can now run till my heart is content, while mini is in bed and watching enders

jetcat · 26/03/2010 20:38

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 20:38

there's nothing unmanly about quiche....it's sort of a 'convertible' pie.....

JuJusDad · 26/03/2010 20:39

FiveGoMadInDorset · 26/03/2010 20:56
