New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

  • jet that is absolutely fantastic. WELL DONE!

Lizzy - bastards. You must be absolutely steaming mad. They sound like bully boys of the worst order. Now saying that however does not help you feel calmer...what can we do to take your mind off it?

Alice - congratulations - boys are totally scrumptious and gorgeously cuddly.

Not surprising that mystic shiney was correct in her prediction...

Like the top mystic.

Goober · 26/03/2010 13:34

I am home from hell work.

TIS THE WEEKEND PEOPS!!!

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 13:42

Sazz, well done on running, I did 20mins powerplate and ran 4km this morning didn't have time to do any more, not nearly as impressive as you though I am going to start running outside as I find the treadmill too dull and it is bloody hot in the gym.

Sazz, I am shocked that they denied it, but thinking of it, they may be trained to/or it could get deducted out of their wages. Have just been onto insurer and it would be his word against mine, so not sure what we'll do.

Hells, I was steaming mad, they were just so arrogant and rude and it feels horrible knowing that I have done nothing wrong but will be out of pocket.

Ah well, it's done now, nothing I can do about it.
I am supposed to be going out tonight but feel it may be taking the pee going and spending money when I have just cost us so much.

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 13:49

miserable wankers Lizzy...... you must be fuming.

And GO JET!!!!!! Yayyyyyyyyyy Mrs!!!

Hi words and firsttimer....

DC's at their Dad's tonight but I have even more work, and it really needs to be done before monday, because it all starts again then. I think I have a sinus infection....Oh joy..

so, you ain't seen me right

Goober · 26/03/2010 13:52

Am spraying self with grapefruit juice as I try to spoon it out.

Fleecy · 26/03/2010 13:53

9 lb - that's fab!

sazz impressed by your running skills.

alice a girl then a boy is the perfect combo, although there's a chance I'm biased How old will your DD be when your DS arrives?

I've joined food focus as a way of being more disciplined. Day two today so we will see!

hi firsttimer

lizzy - you must def fight them! Thats so unfair that you will be out of pocket - does street have cctv or something?

Bof - hope you are not too stressed re flight preparations

Sazz - i had a chat with the nurse re pizza hut, she said it may be a good test for me So while i know i should go for the lower fat mam and mushroom or something - i know i will be unable to resist pepporoni. I may just not have the garlic bread though And well done on the run

Fleecy · 26/03/2010 13:56

Forgot to say lizzy am very on your behalf. What has your insurer told you to do if it's your word against theirs?

Our nanny had an accident on the way here a few weeks ago - the other lady involved lied about it and out nanny didn't know what would happen. Turns out by examining the cars they worked out it was the other lady at fault. Could you insurer do that or will they not do it unless the car is a write off?

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 13:56
SlinkyGoober · 26/03/2010 13:57

No googles, but have changed name just to confuse grapefruit.

Am off to do some RL and will return.......

Love you!

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 14:01

Jet/Fleecy, I don't think the damage will be enough to warrant a claim/investigation to be honest.
Hopefully!

Anyway, onwards and upwards.

Am now plotting ways of sabotaging the wheelie bin. Or maybe all the nearby wheelie bins.

One thing, haven't eaten in my indignant rage, not v hungry, but must have something before night out (it is an Italian meal with some ladies, then drinks and dancing), or else I'll be lying in the corner drunkenly weeping and wailing and moaning about bin men
