New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

Shiney I've never been namechecked before ! have been around a while don't think we've ever crossed swords- but I get bored and name change every so often. Plus I'm a terrible blabbermouth and everyone knows by business within a few seconds !

Have resisted snacking till now.
Am off to sort out ds's pit (and throw it out when hes at school)

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 10:52

Alice - BOY, they are ace

TheLadyEvenstar · 26/03/2010 10:54

Hi Ladies,
i need some style help lol i am off out tonight, I am taking full advantage of DP being off for the weekend he can have the DC lol. Anyway I have just realised I have nothing to wear!!!!

I am after a top which is tightish at the top and lowish cut, not too low mind, but is looser at the tummy iyswim? 3/4 sleeves and a nice colour!!

any ideas?

wastingaway · 26/03/2010 10:58

I've weighed myself and I've lost about i/2 pound! I was weighing in the evening before, so I may actually have put on, but I'm happy with to stick with what the Wii says.

I need to be nicer to tummy though, I'm so bloated up, and still a little gutachey.

Right, Dad's here, so it's sorting and diying time!

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 11:01

Well done wasting!

I find weighing myself on the wii a bit unpredictable though, it always seems to give me a different wieght plus i want to kick it when it says 'ouch'

Wordsonascreen · 26/03/2010 11:04

My wii fit trills "too high" at me.

I bloody hate it.

Do you have a name in mind? Boys are FAB

Alicetheinvisible · 26/03/2010 12:13

Erm, a couple of maybes, but it hasn't really sunk in that it is going to be a baby and not a bump iyswim?

wastingaway · 26/03/2010 12:16

Woo! One of each!

The Wii Fit is sooo patronising.

Firsttimer7259 · 26/03/2010 12:25

Can I join?...I need to join...

Have just had baby (7 weeks ago), need to lose 10 kgs of baby weight. Thats 1.5 stone to you non metrics. Though lots of weight dropped off post birth thats all over now...

I am breastfeeding but eating the baby's weight in chocolate and cake on a daily basis. I need to stop this madness and eat more healthily....Havent done that since start of pregnancy and think I have forgotten how to...

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 12:35

Congrats Alice! Boys are fab.

Am breaking my self-imposed MN break.

Have just had a bastard bin lorry reverse into side of my car whilst trying to park to do preschool pick up. He and his cronies are saying that I pulled out in front of reversing truck when it was bloody buggering stationary, lying Northern inbreed twassocks. Had to flag down a police woman so I could run and pick up DS2. The bin lorry driver said if I went to get him I would be leaving the scene of an accident, twat.
Am sooo mad because we will be out of pocket for excess whatever and they are on councils insurance anyway, so why bloody well lie???

Sorry

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 12:36

No offence to Northerners btw, am married to one and raising two, they were just so bloody infuriating

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 12:44

Lizzy, so bloody for you

Are you ok?

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 12:45

None taken just hope youre ok

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 12:48

Oh I am fine, it's just bashed off the wing mirror and dented the bodywork a bit.
It's just so bloody unfair (wailing in the manner of a teenager), we'll lose no claims and have to pay excess because they are lying incompetent arsewipes.

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 12:52

Were there any witnesses who would back you up? bloody bastards

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 12:55

Firsttimer i do apologise, i meant to welcome you before i got binmen rage

Are you new to MN?

Lizzylou · 26/03/2010 12:56

No, just the bin men who were stood chatting and who laughed, then backed up shithead driver.
I knew this week was going too bloody well.

Have been in tears on phone to DH, he was wonderful and told me not to be upset, but it is just so wrong....

Am planning on smearing shit all over my wheelie bins now to get my own back, where's BOF?
