New thread, same old plan.

We are a bunch of varying-in-size ladies (with the occassional male visitor) who all want to eat more healthily. We include those who want to lose 50 lbs, those who have already lost 50 lbs, those with only a little to lose, and some who just like to chat.

Come, post lots, and you will get encouragement, sympathy, and ass-kicking as necessary

OY You Shiney one...I did post here before I saw your messgae. Don't think I didnt', I promised my return before the end of the week and here I am.

RougeBinDippers · 26/03/2010 00:00

Only 750 to go.

YanknCock · 26/03/2010 00:02

Rouge, volunteer for thread cleanup next time! Though we shouldn't need it.....because everyone is going to be nice and tidy and finish this thread before buggering off to the new one, right?

It's just like bloody DH and opening the new bread before the old loaf is finished. And the new marmalade before old one finished. And frickin' everything else....he just loves to open new stuff and it drives me mental. Use it up FGS!

Jaquelinehyde · 26/03/2010 00:03

750 PAH...that's only 1-2 days maximum in the world of Shiney.

YanknCock · 26/03/2010 00:03

wasting, have you ever seen Supersize Me? That will put you right off.

Jaquelinehyde · 26/03/2010 00:04

OH MY GOD.....Yes bloody finish the bread before you begin the new loaf!

YanknCock · 26/03/2010 00:04

I have cleaned up the last thread btw, by detailing all my activities today. You can get a surprising amount done not being on MN.

jaq, it seriously is begining to be a joke with DH. If I ask him 'why did you open the new bread?' He says, 'Oh the old one was going stale'.

A. No, it isn't. You just like opening new bread.

B. If it really was stale, why didn't you throw it out? Am I the fucking bread-binning fairy?

Jaquelinehyde · 26/03/2010 00:10

Me to, too much excitement for one day ...I'm back.

Let's do it, let's shift this weight, move these pounds, motivate ourselves...

I too am really tired, lets think about it tomorrow.

See you in the morrow, fellow cultists. Night.

...I'm back!

Jaquelinehyde · 26/03/2010 00:12

Premature bread openers....grrrrrrrrr

Night xx

bellavita · 26/03/2010 00:42

Went to bed at 9.00 up again at 12.00 because of toothache. Now sat here nursing a hot chocolate and pain killers feeling really sorry for myself and watching A Year Without Jade... it is making me cry, so am going to turn it off.

I go to bed early and miss a night of frivolity!!!

Jaq, so glad you are back

Not sure if DH booked the Green Day tickets - I told him he could and he said he would do it when the boys went to bed (wants to surprise them) but as I went up at the same time as them, I don't really know what he has done.

Have had a shite day diet wise but back on the wagon tomorrow.

BoF - sending good vibes that flight not cancelled and it all goes smoothly.

I cannot remember what anyone else has said - sorry.

bellavita · 26/03/2010 01:05

Just me here then?

BitOfFun · 26/03/2010 01:09

Dear bella- how's the toothache? Have just cme through to the spare room as there is no way I can sleep through DP's snoring and I haven't the heart to dig him in the ribs! Quick little threads I'm on to relax...

bellavita · 26/03/2010 01:16

Toothache is aching like bloody hell even though I have take nurofen.

Don't you just hate it when they snore, it drives me up the wall when DH does it.

Is DD all packed? What time is her flight?

BitOfFun · 26/03/2010 01:24

She claims to be...flight at 18.45, but want to get her to Manchester in plenty of time, so she's leaving school at lunchtime. Am terrified BA will cock the connection up! She is hardly an experienced traveller at her age, so im worried she'll panic if plans change. Heck, I would!

You poor thing with the teeth- must be unbearable

I'd better sign off now and try to sleep though- up early to check everything before dd1 leaves in the morning. Night gorgeous

bellavita · 26/03/2010 01:29

Night BoF - I am going to back to bed now, I have to be up at 6.00am.

ClaudiaSchiffer · 26/03/2010 02:28

oooooooooo is everyone asleep?

I've just got back from the supermarket with 2 dds. It was horrendous. They were so naughty and I was so shouty. I feel all teary now .

Anyhoo, tearyness avoided wth a strong cuppa and a tuna wrap stuffed to the gills with lettuce - lucky me. Also had a fibre drink - I went for it Bof. I await the forthcoming explosion!

Bella sorry you have tooth pain, hopefully you are asleep now.

Hello everyone else . . . Alice, A GIRL, A GIRL! Apart from this mornings horrors, girls ROCK!

MitsubishiWarrioress · 26/03/2010 06:10

What was it last night? sponsored yacking night?

I don't have a chance of catching up but skimmed and you all made me laugh with your banter and chatting....

I am still stupidly busy, and feeling a little better... I had booked all appointments for the Docs, dentists, and opticians this week, which made it all the more hectic. It was my turn at the dentist yesterday, the guy was a bit of a comedian and as he made me laugh I pointed out that it wasn't fair of him to do while he had his tool in my mouth.

I might not go back there. Ever.

Folk seem well generally...I am hoping this weekend will see things settling down a bit cos I misses y'all....

Yayyyyyyy...'tis Friday ,

If I work like the devil today I might finish up and get a free weekend so ta-ra for now ladies

xx

bellavita · 26/03/2010 06:15

Am loving the tool in your mouth Mitts - you have given me my first smile of the day!!!

Yogga brekka, cheese sarnie on ww bread for lunch and curry with jacket pots for tea, loads of fruit in between! I'm back on the waggon I tell ya!

Hopefully I can catch up with you all when I am at work.

MyCatIsABastard · 26/03/2010 07:29

Morning everyone.

How I love an early start . DS woke up at 5:40 and would not go back to bloody sleep. Then he woke up DD at 6:30, about an hr earlier than usual so I got up with them leaving DH to have a lie in .

I have decided today that I will go through the day with a serene glow (otherwise known as ignoring all the shit and living in my own happy world - my head).

WIll catch up later properly. Hope your all well.

MyCatIsABastard · 26/03/2010 07:31

Mitts, loving the tool comment with the Dentist. MIne is an old family friend who used to fancy me like bloody mad in our 20's. He's also v shy and if I said that to him he would probably fall off his stool in embarrassment. . Luckily I didn't when I went yesterday as DH is seeing him today and that could have been a tad awkward.

jetcat · 26/03/2010 08:42

morning all

Jaq - great to see you

well, weigh in in 30 mins, please keep everything crossed for me as i am bricking it

I have also decided today, in my quest to be more proactive rather than a wus to finally sort out a new passport photo. I am sure i have mentioned before my phobia of having a photo took, so am really nervous for that too. I am taking mini to get hers done at a studio thing, but i will get mine in a booth

VinegarTitsOnaDiet · 26/03/2010 09:13

Good Morning

Guess what? (what month are we in March? nearly April) i am CHILD FREE this weekend for the first time since beginning of JANUARY Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!

Xp is having the Finnster ALL weekend keep your finger crossed for me though as he had a little wobble this morning and told me 'i will try going to Daddys for 10 minutes Mummy, then i will come home' while sticking his bottom lip out and trying not to cry

Off to read thread.....

TrillianAstra · 26/03/2010 09:22

Morning all, haven't read through yet but will attempt a brief catch-up. Vinny hope your child-free weekend works out. Finn is going ot his Dad's, it's not a bad place, the two of them just need to work out how to live together.
