Porridge.
Banana
Apple
water
then roast chicken for dinner with butternut squash,
brocoli, onion, beans, carrots.
No roast pots

Guadalupe · 18/04/2010 16:30

I am weighing in tomorrow but not hopeful after eating out.

elliemental · 18/04/2010 18:42

OMG... lolololol it turns out ds1 and 2 have discovered FOTC for themselves on Spotify and are word perfect on most of the songs .
It is very funny.

Guadalupe · 18/04/2010 18:44

What's FOCT?

elliemental · 18/04/2010 18:55

flight of the conchords.

Guadalupe · 18/04/2010 18:59

oh yes, I was trying to think of a band.

pointydog · 18/04/2010 20:07

ellie, your bootcamp sounds hard and brilliant. I am going to bootcamp it tomorrow.

orange juice
salad nicoise in pizza express with only a tiny bit of dressing (left rest in its pot) so an egg, tuna (briny or watery), anchovy, capers, tomato, potato, a little bread, so much freaking lettuce I had to leave half of it
baked potato, cottage cheese, cucumber, red pepper, baked beans

at least 6 portions but I still ate too much.

pointydog · 18/04/2010 20:08

I am going to weigh in tomorroww after my bootcamp but half lost max of one pound this week

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 18/04/2010 20:10

Coo, am knackered tonight.

We done lots of lovely walking today. We went to Wimpole Hall (NT property) in Cambs with the inlaws.

We had a (mediocre) pub lunch where FIL got a bit pissed (!) and then went to the Hall.

It was lovely, the sun was shining and there were lots of people walking around in historical costumes from all ages - there was an historical fair type thingy going on in the grounds. I decided that if I was into that historical dressing up malarky, I would choose the 1940's. Red lipstick, seamed stockings and big rolls in my hair.

Ds loved the farm there and was trying to clamber in with the pigs. The bulls there were HUGE and I've never seen testicles quite like it

Somehow ds managed to stay awake on the drive home and I had to sing Bob The Builder umpteen times. He keeps asking for 'Bob', but he hasn't actually seen it - he's picked it up from songtime at Toddlers.

banana
spinach and goats cheese cannallonni (sp!) with carrots, mange tout and red cabbage.
I need to make some supper but don't know what to have - the cupboard is a bit bare.

CoupleofKooks · 18/04/2010 20:23

40s clothes are definitely cool
i used to be quite into 60s stuff as i had the figure for it but no longer
my friend wears 40s clothes but she has this fab 40s figure, with a waist and a bottom and bust

CoupleofKooks · 18/04/2010 20:29

cereal mangmang pear banana apple (4)

wrap with philadelphia and quorn (oh dear this was a SNACK not a meal, no wonder i need boot camp)

pasta with veg bolognese, cheese, broccoli, carrots, sweetcorn (3)

about one inch part of a chocolate cookie at party (v nice)
2 bites of an egg mayo sandwich at party (needed salt)

rocket, spinach, oatcakes, peanut butter, tomato, avocado, cashews, artichoke hearts, veg sausage, salad dressing, dried apricots (4)

did robcast as i said - bit sad to finish wk 3 in a way - the music really was very good and it was an easy week as you only do 15 mins
i am enjoying going out and doing it though - it's very hard to think or worry about other stuff while you are doing it and i am getting definite endorphins

CoupleofKooks · 19/04/2010 08:36

morning

come on then chaps weigh in time and we'll do a list

Boco - 1 lb (unless there's more boco? good luck for today btw)

Franny - nothing - in fact may have put on half pound

well i said by mid april i wanted to have lost 6 lb. I've lost 4 which I am happy with, but the extra 2 would have been good really. I think it works best for me to do smaller goals so I would like to lose another 4 lb in the next month - so mid May. I'm hoping I can keep losing 1 lb a week without cutting out food drastically (because I'm not going to do that). Maybe I can increase my muscle tone a bit and help that way. I want to keep up the running 3 x a week, but also do some weights as well - my arms are looking really sad and it is short sleeved weather, help
I'll try to start that tonight.
Anyone else want to list goals, it does help to focus I think

Have a good day all

oh pointy i think your title is clever but i have a problem in that i really hate okra
could we have a non okra-based pun please?

OP posts:
elliemental · 19/04/2010 08:49

BOCO!!! you won't see this til later but Best Of Luck today, sweetie! x

I have lost nothing

I need to lose anything!

today is cold and drizzyl and the central heating no worky and ds2 is bereft as ds1 gone on a week's residential and ds2 is on a training day and we are cold and fed up.

I seriously thinking of the cinema again, just to be warm.

CoupleofKooks · 19/04/2010 08:52

fm what are your PLANS you have to have GOALS and STRATEGIES and stuff
it's the day for being strict before we all slide back into eating cake and brie

OP posts:
elliemental · 19/04/2010 09:00

er well, today I plan to eat dust and drink water.
Then walk briskly into town and buy fat clothes.

Then later, dh will pick up my zazzy new serviced bike with actual gears which actually work!
and I plan to get on my bike and not get off until my stomach and arse no longer resemble semi-set blamange.
Is that a good plan?

Guadalupe · 19/04/2010 09:34

10st 9, which means I have lost 3 lbs, which is a bloody miracle tbh given the eating out this week.

I wonder if the weight that had gone on was a bit of limbo bloaty weight from holiday stuffing ifswim.

Anyway I am still more than when I went on holiday so goals. My goal is to be 10 by the summer which I class as June which gives me four to six weeks to lose 9 lbs which I know you may think is unrealistic but I am impatient and I know I can do it with focus.

It helps if I don't go out but I like going out. I am going to the theatre on thursday and its my wedding anniversary on Sunday but other than that I will try to stay in.

3 Nice biscuits [last morning in bed before school!]
