Spoke too soon, both dc still shouting. Now can't decide whether going into DS is going to wind him up more or settle him down!

ooh like the sound of a thread meet. I'd come along....if i were invited of course.

Shiny there is very little else to tell. it was just as his band were hitting the big time, i had known him from his DJ'ing days in croydon for some time. never really fancied him much but i was a bit slutty bored.

it was at his mums house. it was totally shite. he actually asked me once he had finished whether i had "finished". i answered "no dear, i barely realised you had started"

I have yet to read Jordans book but when i saw the hooha about her comments about him i did have a little chortle to myself.

DS1 is 5, DS2 2 and DD is 6 months.

DS2 has always been incredibly laid back but turned 2 on boxing day and the tantrums began.

Lets just say that DD was a very unexpected although delightful surprise .

Oooh - brora wristwarmers arrived today - so that cheered me up.

MyCatIsABiggerBastardThanYours · 19/01/2010 20:48

ahhh, peace finally bloody reigns! I have been putting children to bed for 3hrs and I've only got sodding 2!!!

Shiney - very decadent of you, talking to us from your bed. Shall we send someone round to feed you grapes and massage your feet too?

thread meet sounds like a plan.

Sazzles - yes, I'm around tomorrow afternoon, DD is home tomorrow as well as DS. Want to pop down to mine? That's if we're not under loads of snow. I'll text you in the morning.

YanknCock · 19/01/2010 20:48

mamazon, you've achieved the impossible, I actually went to the CBB website to have a nose at who you were talking about--even though for few years I've prided myself on not knowing the names of anyone in CBB and BB through strict avoidance.

Very sorry to hear about your DP's job.

DH and I went to pilates tonight, and DS allowed me finish 45 minutes of the class before letting me know he was no longer happy to sit and watch us fanny about with resistance bands and wallow on the floor.

DS now asleep (I think, at least I can't hear him) so thinking of doing my pumping then having a early-ish night. Or maybe some wine. Or both. I've got enough points for a big glass of real wine, not WW wine.

NIght away in a top hotel sounds fantastic to me. Although night away in a tent in a gale sounds fantastic at the moment.

mamazon · 19/01/2010 20:54

loving the sound of top hotel. would love to meet all of you on this thread.

DS is asleep. not just in bed but asleep. this is a rarity. he never sleeps before 11 even with his meds.

so yay for me

I would love to stay in a top hotel and meet you all. Purleeeeeeeeease say we can do it.

Have just been speaking to our fishie friend Shiney. On the pissers thread. She said her trousers were too tight, so I invited her over to the "in" thread...

I dithered over arctic but got truffle as go with my warm coat and mac. They are lovely.
